There are no vertical grips that are ok on a pistol with less that 26" overall length. What you are referring to are the Magpul AFG and Strike Industries cobra grip and those like them, that are not vertical grips at all. They are fine on any length weapon because they aren't considered vertical grips. These...

While I'm not OS, yes you may own both. If you were not able there would be multitudes, including me, in violation of federal law. In the case you mentioned, you have a legal use for the stock and foregrip (a gun with a barrel greater than 16") so there is nothing to worry about. See post #5 Now, I would not ride around in the car with a stock and my AR pistol, there's no proof there that you have a legal use for the stock since your gun with a barrel greater than 16" is not present, but that's me personally

Sweet Jesus I'd love to throat punch that first guy. That voice!

Good deal on a weapon light.

That's a very good deal, dang. -
If so, oops. If I'm not mistaken, Costa owns and runs a CORE series quite extensively. I got no dog in the race other than not wanting TGO guys' barrels to splinter or whatnot, but I can't see this as fishy no matter how hard I try.
-
So Chris Costa isn't a reliable source to you? Some of you guys, sheesh.
-
Apparently all of them were newer built guns. Just kinda scary to me.

Saw this posted on Chris Costa's facebook page. Thought maybe it might be worth checking out. Just a heads up.

Completely wrong. It's come sale away. Geez.

Lol none of that. I can't see myself doing any worse than those goofballs in the video, though

I've seen blackout at our Walmart here, and surprisingly it had a pretty good price on it IIRC

Say what you want, but I'd love to square up to it one time

Well...since it's already derailed...might as well chase a rabbit for a minute. Part of me absolutely does not trust anything our government tells us. There are a metric crap load of things that don't make much sense about that Day in December of 2012. I'm not saying I don't believe it happened, I'm not saying I do either. I do know one thing, I do not believe it happened how we've been told it happened, simply because it was told to us that way. Now, another part of me sits and thinks about just how much would have to come together for this "hoax" to be pulled off. Of course, it helps when the media will report whatever, whenever they tell them. This is a government that I don't believe is competent enough to put together a game of kickball, much less something the magnitude of Newtown. Like I said, I'm not quite sure what to believe, but there are a lot of things that make no sense. TGO investigative trip to Newtown anyone?

Question Regarding a Possible Situation
KKing replied to 101's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I'm the guy that, like the OP, would have said something to the driver. I am very protective of my family. You might get close to me by myself and me keep my mouth shut, but not my wife. I don't have children, but I cannot imagine "letting it go" when someone drives a vehicle near enough to hit them. Hindsight is 20/20, and it's easy for us to sit and say what he could have done in this situation. Hell, we aren't the ones that nearly had our wife and child ran over. I try to avoid confrontation all costs, and I know they say "choose your battles", I just believe I would have said something to the driver just the same. I suppose I'm a hot head as well. -
I know my in-laws have already said this year is their last. They have 4 prime seats that they have had since the very first year the Titans came to Tennessee. Funny thing about it? They don't go to the games, they'd rather watch from home. They either give them to us or other family members or they sell them. So I don't think they're connected to them at all now the way things are going.

If you want someone local to take those HL's off your hands I'm your Huckleberry ;). The wife always wants to use mine instead of the ones I bought for her. I might order a pair of these as well.

So is there a form I have to fill out to get my 3 minutes back or how does that work?
-
Semi auto?!? I has no words.

Oh I know you weren't referring to 22lr, I meant earlier on in this thread. Just for sake of argument in your scenario I'd argue that you are greatly decreasing your probability of effectiveness by taking the time to change your point of aim and trying to find your sights again. That's probably splitting hairs, though. I do love good discussion

Last year I did reveal mine, but I also wrote a letter explaining why I chose what gifts. I did not this year, and I also shipped from a location other than my home. Maybe I'll see if they like the gifts first! lol

Just the same as they would if shot in the groin. I don't think odds are equal that you may hit something vital. If they are already within 21ft of you most would argue you're screwed regardless. If you guys believe people can't move with broken or even shattered pelvis', they can. I feel that I have a 6"-8" deviation of the center line I can hit and still do well at stopping the threat. I would not feel that way when aiming at a groin, especially not with a 22lr as I mentioned earlier. I highly doubt either aiming point will stop an attacker with one round fired anyway, I have no illusions about that. We carry pistols, not death rays. I don't care where you aim to defend yourself, just stop the threat, expeditiously.
-
All I can say is for those of you that wish to aim for the pecker, go for it. I'll stick to center mass. I feel as though (and science along with multiple trainers agree) center mass gives me the highest probability of stopping the threat.

I'm sorry, and I'm glad it worked in her case, but that's terrible advice.

I've had 4 orders with them the last two weeks. One did exactly what yours is doing. It said they printed the label, yet it never got any further. Surprise, surprise it shows up on my porch one day. Why? Because our postal workers never scanned it when it was picked up, nor at any of it's stops. I've dealt with PA's customer service a couple of times. I doubt very highly they would tell you that they shipped it on the phone when it wasn't in stock. They've bent over backwards to help me both times. I've got no stake in the matter, but as I said...I'd be willing to bet.

I'd be willing to bet it's a problem with USPS and not Primary Arms. I have ordered from them no less than 30 times, all flawless
