Bushnell AR Optics 4.5-18x40mm BDC Reticle
KKing replied to btq96r's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I blame you!!! I kid, I'm still happy I got one, sometimes thems just the breaks -
I'll address you one more time, and hopefully by then you'll be gone. This thread was about M&P barrels. You came in trying to make it about something else entirely, which is Costa himself. You continue to swing your internet penis around and clamor about all these "fan boys", when in reality it's just guys that don't care to hear your ####. It has much more to do with you than it does him. Yes, I agreed to test one of your muzzle devices and write a review simply because you posted the offer on this very forum for someone to test. Of which I even offered to send you back now that I'm done due to its sub par performance compared to other muzzle devices I have. Now I'm a dick because I'm tired of hearing you whine? I try not to get personal online, but it appears that ship has sunk. It would appear sir, that your time is better spent somewhere else other than this thread, like say...trying to make a better muzzle device? I'm sure you have so many applications to your training classes that you teach it will take you the rest of the year to sort through them.

If I say please will you go away? I don't know what the guy ever did to you, but it sure seems much more personal that professional

Do you use a quick detach optic mount?
KKing replied to maroonandwhite's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I have days where I just simply feel like shooting with irons only. Easy off, easy on, no loss of zero. -
I too think that's ridiculous, for the record. Equally as ridiculous though, is to downplay that they face danger at all.

Do you use a quick detach optic mount?
KKing replied to maroonandwhite's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Yes, two Larue's and one American Defense. Never seen a shift in zero with either. The scopes are a 1-4 and a 1-6, the other mount is used on a red dot -
Have you been a part of any police force? Oh, that's right you drive a truck. I personally have a friend that was a state trooper shot and killed simply because he pulled over a couple of idiots that just happened to be trafficking drugs. Have you ever been shot at for simply driving your truck? Please put on a uniform, then talk this load of crap. I know you were trying to make a point, but the whole "I'm a truck driver and they're just cops" gist is piss poor at best.

I laughed when I saw the thumbs up/thumbs down votes

Is the extractor pulling the spent shell out of the chamber at all? Sounds like it may be skipping over the rim of the case. Which could be a weak extractor spring or over gassing. If it's a weak spring, I'd upgrade the spring, insert, and o ring to this... http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Extractor-Spring-Uprade-Kit-p/bcm%20extractor%20spring%20upgrade.htm If it's just extremely over gassed, you could add a heavier spring and or buffer, but that's only a bandaid for decreasing the amount of gas.

The more you post crap like this, the more whiney you appear. You even squeezed in another post since I quoted this one! Wow

I don't think anyone is mad you disagree with his way of training, but you're coming across like a whiney little girl throwing a temper tantrum.

Shockwave Blade Approved ... BUT...
KKing replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in National Firearms Act (NFA) Regulated
I know this isn't solely the problem as the ATF is nothing but a bumbling, contradictory bunch...but I really wish people would stop screwing with a good thing. The Black Ace Tactical guys were trying to use the brace on a SBS. Now these guys at shockwave are trying to cash in on some of the Sig brace success. Leave well enough alone already. Guess I just need to get that trust set up and file a form one. -
Well... Chris Costa spent 7 years in the private sector at Applied Marine Technologies Inc. and Linxx on assignment with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Risk Management Division (RMD). At AMTI and Linxx, Costa specialized in teaching Police Tactical Operations in CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear or High Explosive) environments and providing Red Team Vulnerability Assessments on critical infrastructures for the US Government. Prior to this, Mr. Costa spent 12 years with the United States Coast Guard, conducting counter drug operations and special missions in Europe, the Middle East, and South America with such units as; the International Training Division (ITD), Maritime Law Enforcement Academy, Plankowner of Port Security Unit 302 and the Taclet Law Enforcement Team North. It bothers you that he has a following and trains all over the U.S.? No, he was never a true doorkicker but he does teach good weapons manipulation. I mean, I think Lady Gaga is the worst thing to ever happen to music, but it doesn't bother me that she has a following. Smells like jealousy in here.

There are no vertical grips that are ok on a pistol with less that 26" overall length. What you are referring to are the Magpul AFG and Strike Industries cobra grip and those like them, that are not vertical grips at all. They are fine on any length weapon because they aren't considered vertical grips. These...

While I'm not OS, yes you may own both. If you were not able there would be multitudes, including me, in violation of federal law. In the case you mentioned, you have a legal use for the stock and foregrip (a gun with a barrel greater than 16") so there is nothing to worry about. See post #5 Now, I would not ride around in the car with a stock and my AR pistol, there's no proof there that you have a legal use for the stock since your gun with a barrel greater than 16" is not present, but that's me personally

Sweet Jesus I'd love to throat punch that first guy. That voice!

Good deal on a weapon light.
KKing replied to maroonandwhite's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
That's a very good deal, dang. -
If so, oops. If I'm not mistaken, Costa owns and runs a CORE series quite extensively. I got no dog in the race other than not wanting TGO guys' barrels to splinter or whatnot, but I can't see this as fishy no matter how hard I try.
-
So Chris Costa isn't a reliable source to you? Some of you guys, sheesh.
-
Apparently all of them were newer built guns. Just kinda scary to me.
-
Saw this posted on Chris Costa's facebook page. Thought maybe it might be worth checking out. Just a heads up.
-
Completely wrong. It's come sale away. Geez.
-
Lol none of that. I can't see myself doing any worse than those goofballs in the video, though

I've seen blackout at our Walmart here, and surprisingly it had a pretty good price on it IIRC
