  1. Holy crap those facebook comments are scary. Many of them are encouraged by this guy
  2. Saw this on facebook a while back. Definitely cannot tell that is a pistol grip shotgun without looking close. Pretty crazy
  3. Ludicrous. I do like that grip reduction, however.
  4. Have to agree. If I was operating under a "money is tight" circumstance I wouldn't be entertaining this idea at all. I suppose one could be mislead by my original post in thinking so, but I was more curious than anything. I have just reached the point where I have built/bought all the weapons I want for the moment and I think instead of acquiring more weapons it would be fun to make some of them shorter and more quiet.
  5. Just as an update, it was literally within an hour of contacting Chip that he got back to me. I am going to try and get in on his holiday special. Thank you Mr. Cain for your time, and I like forward to working with you.
  6. I sent Chip a message through his site, I wasn't sure how often he logs in here. Now to make my wife understand all of this   :surrender:
  7. I guess I answered my own question, with y'all's guidance. This is the response I got from them. To me that's like saying "No, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night". Ok, maybe that was harsh, but it doesn't exactly instill confidence.
  8. You're right, I know it. It's not really the dollar factor I don't guess. I just wondered what the deal was with the low price. Guess I really need to do some digging.
  9. Let me start by saying I'm new to the NFA world. I know more about the can's and can'ts (laws) than I do about setting up a trust and getting the ball rolling. From the reading I have done both here and on other sites, it would appear a trust is the way to go if a person wants to get into NFA items. I also know that once I get started I'm not likely to stop with just one NFA item. That said, I came across this business Coyote Rifleworks offering trusts for $95. The old saying "if it seems too good to be true..." comes to mind, but what would be the difference in a solid trust and not? I know to some of you this is elementary, but I'd appreciate your input. Link to their site... http://www.coyoterifleworks.com/nfa-trust/
  10. Scratch that. Wife thought she bought tickets online today, apparently they didn't process. I'm trying to have a good attitude lol
  11. Where you headed? We're headed to see the 7:45 imax showing in cool springs
  12. So basically if you use it as intended you're fine. Put it against your shoulder and you're a felon. Freedom, eh?
  13. I might as well start preparing my form 1. The ATF (although it should be done away with) isn't going to let this continue I fear.
  14. I'll be in for 10 or so. I've never had a desire for a AR drum magazine, but I'll be picking up one of those from them too
  15. I'll be there tonight with the wife. I despise going to the theater on Friday or Saturday, but tonight is different
  16. Not to make an argument either way, but I saw this explanation by Mike Pannone today.
  17. The way I look at it is an actor telling me what I should do with my guns is like a stripper trying to give me advice on life decisions
  18. Was that English? Other that the rather frequent expletives, I can't say I understood but maybe a couple of words. Good for those officers for keeping their cool. I'm sure they encounter this type behavior quite frequently. Their temperament and professionalism is far and beyond what I could maintain
  19. I believe at one point and time revolvers were superior due to their reliability just the same as telegraphs were the best communication because there wasn't many other options. With the vast number of reliable semi autos made today, I believe that point is moot. I don't like revolvers for self defense because it's almost physically impossible to reload under stress. But many would say that's a moot point as well. I also carry a semi auto for capacity. There won't always only be one attacker Carry what you shoot well and practice with it often. I'll carry a semi auto
  20. I don't have any pictures of myself, and don't plan to take any, so here. I'm the guy on the left with the creepy grin.
  21. I think $750 is a good deal with the finishing work you do. Looks like you did a great job, I'd actually like to have one myself. Sad fact is though, that my wife found some cookie cutter ones from lowes we ended up spending close to $600 for
