  1. That's pretty cool I have to say, I might have to get myself one
  2. I don't buy/sell/trade outside of TGO and my LGS. No way in Hades I'd meet some of the people I see post on those facebook pages. I still follow them though, for my entertainment pleasure
  3. Completely agree. I just so happen to be s big fan of all 3. I'm definitely in if they figure it out
  4. Hopefully it performs better than the "mutant". I think CMMG is making it. Tests I've seen on it are horrible
  5. I like my Daniel Defense much more than the Troy fixed rear I had
  6. I love my irons only gun. I'm running the Daniel Defense fixed irons and I'm 99% as accurate with them as I am with a red dot. I can get a picture later
  7. Not real sure why this is a story. I could sum it up in just a very few words, maybe something like "idiot criminals will be idiot criminals"
  8. What firearm were you shooting the steel case from? If I'm not mistaken Academy branded ammo is actually Barnual, and generally good quality for what it is. I haven't shot Federal aluminum, but I've shot a ton of Blazer aluminum back when I could get it for $8/50. Never had a problem...but then again I've never had a problem with steel case either

    Hello

    Welcome from Columbia
  10. Ehh, I was set on one and talked myself out of it. The inability to swap VZ58 parts to the VZ2008 gave me a headache. Basically everything that is made for the VZ58 will fit on this weapon.....after extensive modification. So...I went with a Saiga instead. It is a good deal though, if you intended to leave it just as it comes.
  11. 10,000 internets to you, friend. Good show.
  12. That's pretty awesome. I've decided when I get around to doing my "man room" it will be in antique gun stuff and old medical stuff, since both me and the wife are medical
  13. I'd like to see highlighted benefactor members with special skill sets, maybe every so often? Grand Torino is the first one that comes to mind. Maybe do a video on his knife making process. If he's ok with that, of course. Or Dolomite and one of the 10,000 ideas for cool stuff I see him post about. Just a thought. We have some very talented folks that are a part of this site, it'd be cool to highlight that I think.
  14. Holy crap those facebook comments are scary. Many of them are encouraged by this guy
  15. Saw this on facebook a while back. Definitely cannot tell that is a pistol grip shotgun without looking close. Pretty crazy
  16. Ludicrous. I do like that grip reduction, however.
  17. Have to agree. If I was operating under a "money is tight" circumstance I wouldn't be entertaining this idea at all. I suppose one could be mislead by my original post in thinking so, but I was more curious than anything. I have just reached the point where I have built/bought all the weapons I want for the moment and I think instead of acquiring more weapons it would be fun to make some of them shorter and more quiet.
  18. Just as an update, it was literally within an hour of contacting Chip that he got back to me. I am going to try and get in on his holiday special. Thank you Mr. Cain for your time, and I like forward to working with you.
  19. I sent Chip a message through his site, I wasn't sure how often he logs in here. Now to make my wife understand all of this   :surrender:
  20. I guess I answered my own question, with y'all's guidance. This is the response I got from them. To me that's like saying "No, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night". Ok, maybe that was harsh, but it doesn't exactly instill confidence.
  21. You're right, I know it. It's not really the dollar factor I don't guess. I just wondered what the deal was with the low price. Guess I really need to do some digging.
  22. Let me start by saying I'm new to the NFA world. I know more about the can's and can'ts (laws) than I do about setting up a trust and getting the ball rolling. From the reading I have done both here and on other sites, it would appear a trust is the way to go if a person wants to get into NFA items. I also know that once I get started I'm not likely to stop with just one NFA item. That said, I came across this business Coyote Rifleworks offering trusts for $95. The old saying "if it seems too good to be true..." comes to mind, but what would be the difference in a solid trust and not? I know to some of you this is elementary, but I'd appreciate your input. 23. There's several open threads on this right now
