I personally run the Midwest Industries Aimpoint T1 specific top cover on my Saiga. The red dot mounts directly to the top half of the handguard. I've had that gun very, very, hot and I've never seen any change in the optic. I would recommend the Ultimak railed tube as well. Several buddies run it and it's solid. I did, but it was in March and they claimed they were backed up because of snow. They took almost a month to ship but they had a statement on their website stating that they would be behind.   For what it's worth, I was not satisfied with my lower when I received it. You could almost pull the rear takedown pin out because the hole was too large. I emailed them and told them hoping they would at least apoligize, but no luck, I never ever got a reply. Sad really, because I was planning on purchasing one of their FDE lowers becasue it matches Magpul so well. I expected to maybe have to ream out some holes with the lower being polymer, but not for one to be so big it's almost unusable

I wouldn't go that far. They always ship mine after at least 2 business days. Primary arms and Fat boy tactical ship the next business day, every time. That I can remember AIM has never sent mine out next day
