  1. Good God my cup of jealousy overfloweth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. As Dolo said, don't pay too much attention to the "experts" over on arfcom. Most of them believe if your weapon doesn't have Daniel Defense, BCM, Larue, KAC or similar stamped on the side it's not worth having. For 90% of all Americans, a PSA built weapon will do everything the aforementioned brands will. For the 10% who actually use their weapons hard, sure spending the extra money is plenty justified. I myself prefer to build my AR's and use quality parts such as those that might come on those $2k guns mentioned above, and save myself from paying their labor and logo costs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I would think any place that does graphics could do it. Here in Columbia we have a graphics/custom vinyl place that you can just email a picture and they can replicate it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I saw a neat one that I can't find the picture of now, but it was vinyl wrap to make the safe look like a stand up freezer. I mean how many people have stand up freezers in the garage? I'd say a lot Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Just to clarify, my idea is only to get sheets of vinyl cut that are similar color to the walls to blend in more Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Maybe something that doesn't scream "I'm a safe!" Like this? Just a vinyl wrap. In all seriousness, have a vinyl sheet cut to match the color of your garage walls and apply it to all sides visible from the street. Will it make it disappear? No. But it might make it just hard enough to see that anyone passing by wouldn't think twice about it. Just a small additional step that is relatively cheap and might help camo the thing. A garage isn't the ideal place, but it certainly isn't as big of a deal as you will read about online if done properly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I really wish I had some play cash when I get these emails. I have no shortage of AR's but I have really been considered putting a few together as cheap as I can just to squirrel away Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Should be a good one. Folks that get paid to pick the winners have been pretty split from what I've seen. I'm hoping for a good showing from my vols Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Nope, not one damn given Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. There's a man I'd gladly stand beside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I can arrange mine by all those things you mentioned, but I cannot find out how to shuffle. I've never used shuffle so that's why I didn't notice it was missing. But viewing by all the things you mentioned is still easily done in my library Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I pray for our country, and I know that God is more than capable to help us. But the more that goes on and the older I get I ask myself "why should he?". How many times do we as a country hold a middle finger to the sky and tell God that we know better than he? I'll prepare as best I can for the rough times we'll see should things get bad, but I'm more concentrated on making sure I have a kingdom to reside in after this one is long gone. 13. You guys know you can turn Apple music off so that it isn't shown right? I mean...I operate my phone and music just the same as I did before after turning that mess off, aside from the aesthetics of the new player. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. My fault. I knew "once a rifle always a rifle" but did not know a barrel had to be attached in order for it to be considered so. I knew completed lowers still transferred as "other", guess I was just thinking about in terms of actually putting it together. No reason not to take the stock off and have a pistol! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes. Stripped lowers are neither long gun or pistol. They are transferred as "receiver only" or "other". If you have ever put a stock on that stripped lower however, the law states it cannot be a pistol after. Pistol marked lowers are a neat convenience, but not needed IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I should have updated this thread. I ended up buying the barrel and will have a thread with the complete build coming as soon as my backordered bolt arrives from QC10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Same here, I've meant to post about it for some time now. Kudos for posting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thought I'd put in a few updated pictures of my gremlins. Lola is 7 months old now (Husky mix) and Ace is just shy of a year (lab) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I'm building my first 9mm carbine, and I'm more excited about it than I have been just about any other build. I ordered my Quarter Circle 10 Glock lower this morning. I want to do a 14.5" pin/weld until I decide if I truly am "in love" with it and SBR the lower. Anyway, I found this barrel, and need opinions. I know it's not "top shelf", but it seems that it would do well to me. I like the fact that it's threaded 1/2x28 so I have more options of muzzle devices, just need to bore out whatever I choose in the lathe. Obviously I'm not looking for a MOA shooter at 200 yards, but I'm pretty ignorant on 9mm barrels, what say ye?   http://micromoa.com/nitrided-14-5-9mm-ar-barrel-threaded-1-2-28/
  20. Keep your booger hook outside of the trigger guard and use a quality holster, non issue. If you're relying on a long trigger pull to keep you from shooting yourself, you're doing it wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Don't guess it has to make sense for me to still want one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. You don't have to watch the video as it may not be your cup of tea, but I was trying to think of a line from this song earlier. It says "I was born here and raised here, I'll make my grave here. It's home...Tennessee." http://youtu.be/DTfaD8nXoC8 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I hate you I hate you I hate you. I'm currently getting into my own build using a Quarter Circle 10 lower and you just threw gas on that fire. Is that PSA's mag block? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I've seen a lot of this world, and there ain't none of it I'd trade for my home. If that means dying defending it, I'm ok with that too
  25. Nice ride. I bought one new in 07 and ended up spending half the price of the actual car changing things. Air ride, interior, wheels....guns are so much cheaper Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
