  1. They may not make them, but they're out there http://www.opticsplanet.com/primary-arms-primary-arms-classic-30mm-red-dot-gen-ii.html
  2. Shh...don't tell anyone this isn't a Aimpoint Pro on my beater. Same model as above
  3. Yep. I have 4 of their dots, love em all. I have too many weapons to have $400+ optics on each.
  4. Either I've been super lucky, or need my eyes checked. I'd wager I've put together maybe 30 something AR's and never noticed a big variation in receivers. I've seen rails that were off, but not so much receivers
  5. I was going to tell you to keep the $50 and just let me come up and put some rounds through it ;) Good for you man, make sure you post pictures
  6. Ohh, I see. Apparently the graph I'm looking at only shows barrel availability, I thought it was referring to the entire barreled unit. You're right, the Taclite T1 says 16 week lead time for the receiver, my fault
  7. Is this what you're looking for? The link doesn't show the bolt knob side, but here's that side http://www.tactilite.com/mobile/Product.aspx?id=37521 It shows the 18.5" barrel as in stock and the 24" as low stock
  8. I'm in to learn too. That being said...I have a large safe and will gladly babysit!
  9. Same here. I use the DPMS upper block linked above, works good to me.
  10. I've done the exact same thing before. Most recently I've noticed I haven't shot for groups worth a dern with a 1" bullseye target. But, if I shoot a round off on the side of the target and then aim at that bullet hole for the following rounds, my groups shrink again. Likely a concentration issue. As you put it, loose screw behind the gun.
  11. Gas is on the rise, smart to only ask for a pint
  12. Is it bad that while I disagree with the way Comms communicated his frustration, I completely get it? The more time goes on and we drift further and further from the Constitution and my (our) votes not being able to steer us back to that...my political stance has basically morphed into "just call me when the shooting starts". Warning points inbound!
  13. I don't care if you have a giant purple chamber flag in your weapon. If you point it at me, we will have problems.
  14. I firmly believe folks have the right to believe whatever they like. They also have the right to be wrong :stir:
  15. Welllll.....sorry, but if you belive in what the bible says at all...they do not
  16. What in the heck. Complete thread derail and I don't care! #FreeComms
  17. I can't see going to Knob Creek over the shoot at Strategic Edge that 2 of our members here are hosting.
  18. Meh, can't really say I care where you stand on the issue, "you" being anyone. I live a good 20 minutes outside city limits. Police response to my house would be at least 30 minutes. If I were to receive a text from my alarm company you'd better believe I would be there in under 10 minutes. You can say it's because I carry a gun or whatever, but that's my property and my responsibility. I'm certainly not going to wait on police response that could take no telling how long. I'm no hero or "vigilante", but I ain't stupid either.
  19. I'll be that guy. Wouldn't have happened if it were a glock :stir:

    Poor Jon
  21. Wow, very cool present for a cool kid. Well done dad.
  22. Good to see there are options becoming available. I almost bit on one about a year ago when PSA had them but this is one of the things that held me back
  23. Better yet, why don't we just turn all of our land over to the federal government so they can manage it?
  24. I likey mucho!
  25. Ah, good call, I believe you're right
