  1. Kimber Pro CDP II, usually in a Bianchi model 82 or if I'm going IWB a Minotaur MTAC Holster and as many magazines as I can shove into my pockets without my pants falling down. And on occasion I'll carry my 9mm Browning Hi Power.
  2. if it helps any, I just took my son into the ER for exactly the same thing last night. They gave him an ultra sound and the first thing the Doc asked was do you sit or stand for extended times. My son being a manager at a Chik Fil a says yup all day long. He gave us the fancy name for it and I don't have the paperwork here but the gist of it is a varicose vein in the scrotum. Due to either extended time on your feet or sitting for long periods without getting up and stretching your legs causes blood to pool in a vein and it blows the valves in the vein. The doctor told him to wear a jock strap for support, like a sling for a broken arm, until he gets in to see a urologist Then the urologist will make the descision on if he needs to operate or if he can be treated with meds and the jock strap. Hope it turns out good for you, we'll say a little prayer for you.
  3. They just announced a weekend curfew... Posted: Apr 27, 2012 5:03 PM CDT Updated: Apr 27, 2012 5:08 PM CDT Reported by Jennifer Johnson NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - A local mall has had enough with teenagers who wander around every weekend unsupervised, and now management is taking a dramatic step to end it. Rivergate Mall is often jam-packed on Friday and Saturday nights, but the crowd is often mostly made up by teens who are there, not to buy anything, but rather to socialize. Mall officials have announced that beginning in May, they will implement a youth escort policy, in which anyone under age 18 would have to be escorted by someone over the age of 21 after 6 p.m. each Friday and Saturday. It would not apply to those teens who work in the mall. They will be issued identification so management will know who is supposed to be there alone and who isn't. Officials are hoping this policy change will weed out those young people who are simply using the mall as an after-hours hangout, and they hope it would also help cut down on crime and the fights that have broken out in the mall. Hickory Hollow is the only other area mall with a similar policy against unaccompanied minors. Hickory Hollow had problems with loitering before adding the policy, but some say the crowds of young people hanging out there may have contributed to the mall's steady decline in tenants. 4. Welcome Willy. Most of my family is from Dyer. Hope you enjoy TGO.
  5. Most old sayings have a good basis in fact. This seems to fit in two ways, "Going off half cocked" first and foremost your attitude and secondly the way you prefer to carry. I myself have cleaned up a few bad habits here at TGO by simply reading and paying attention and realizing a lot of these guys have been doing this a lot longer than I have.
  6. Cocked and locked.
  7. I wonder how much copter trash was generated to obtain his skills. Had to be a bunch of times he went home with nothing but a transmitter. Even a cheap RC Helicopter rig is expensive.

  10. I've got a 2005 Sorento and have never had a bit of trouble out of it. Still love it. Did you get the panoramic roof?
  11. All the above. Plus those who park in handicap parking places that are not handicapped and the jerks that do not park straight and take up two spaces. I always squeeze in next to them, especially next to their drivers side. My SUV's already scratched and dinged up, few more ain't gonna hurt.

  16. Just the Swartz pin. Swartz should have been left in "Spaceballs" or at least made a bit more durable.
  17. My daily carry is a Kimber CDP II Pro. It has run flawless ever since I pitched the original magazine and bought the Wilson's. It's very accurate. The trigger is great, no slack what so ever. It fits my large hands like it was made for me. Only thing that's a mild irratation is the safety but it wouldn't stop me from purchasing another. It's also very comfortable to carry for extended periods of time.
  18. I carry a CDP II daily. Love it!
  19. If you are within 300 feet of your mailbox you could try one of these, there are several out there on the internet: Mailbox Mail Alert If it works as advertised at least you wouldn't have to keep that close of an eye on it.

I guess you mean flash at the end of the barrel perhaps. I carry a Kimber Pro CDP II as my EDC and as far as functionality goes, after 6 to 7 hundred rounds, every time I pull the trigger it goes boom and does it accurately. How much more function do you need?
  21. If he was consistent with that type of speech it's one thing. I think he's testing the waters to see which rhetoric works the best for the polls. If not that then it was an accident and he'll go back into apology mode. Saying what you want to hear is a politicians stock and trade. Living it and meaning it is altogether different.
  22. I just got back from the USS Arizona Memorial on Sunday and it looks great. They are renovating the entrance. They are giving the USS Missouri a face lift, she is in dry dock until mid 2010 getting a new paint job and upgrading the electronics on board. That's my second trip in 2 years. My first trip out you could have heard a pin drop at the memorial, most leaving had a tear in their eye. Almost all the people out there this time were foreigners, Brits and Canadians and were very disrespectful and rude, talking loudly and letting their kids run around making as much noise as they wanted and hang off the sides of the memorial. I wanted to push a few in.
  23. I swear to God Nancy, Bill can put both hands in me and clap! Just like this!

  25. I have a question to throw on top of this question. If a HCP holder has health problems (disabled, heart problems, pacemaker) is this considered by the law when deadly force is used.
