Chris Matthews is who I think of when I hear someone say, "Creepy A$$ Cracker". CHRIS MATTHEWS: "We got to continue this conversation, gentlemen, privately and on television. I mean a lot of people out there -- I'll just tell you one thing. And I'm speaking now for all white people, but especially people who have had to try to change the last 50 or 60 years. And they -- a lot of them have really tried to change, and I'm sorry for this stuff. That's all I'm saying." http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2013/07/18/chris_matthews_to_black_msnbc_employee_on_race_im_speaking_now_for_all_white_people_im_sorry.html

Man arrested for making gun gesture in TX theater
StumpyBeagle replied to BigK's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Nah, he had a silencer. And you say this was in Texas? Was that like Texas, NY, or maybe even Texas, MD? If this kind of crap can happen in Texas then we are in very deep trouble... -

If your looking for something relaxing to do for you and your significant other to do try Gorham's Bluff. http://www.gorhamsbluff.com/ My wife loves it. It's just across the Tennessee state line in Alabama. You can sit up top of a 250 foot bluff and see back into Tennessee for miles and miles. There's nothing earth shattering there other than the views, the food (4 star rated) and lots of peace and quiet. You can rent a cottage or stay in the lodge. Check out the web site.

Vince has been my favorite author since his first book "Term Limits" came out, even before Mitch Rapp was introduced. Both Vince Flynn and Mitch Rapp will be missed.

I live on the line between Antioch and La Vergne. I've got TDS fiber optic and could not be happier. 50 Mpbs download and 20 Mpbs and since it's fiber there is never a bottleneck no matter how many are on line at the same time.

MSNBC blames NRA for slowing down Boston investigators
StumpyBeagle replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Sorry, no I don't. Just going by Fox's paid for Ex-FBI guys statement. I will offer this dis-clamber though. " The invalidity of the Fox's paid for Ex-FBI guys statement does not change in any way the validity of my previous statement of "Larry the Loser" is WRONG! What a asshat!" However I could have taken a bit more time and written my original statement a bit better. -

StumpyBeagle replied to Steelharp's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Ain't it amazing how a 45,000 dollar truck (35,000 for the truck and at least 10,000 for the screwed up California taxes) just turned into millions... No frickin wonder those butt wipes are bankrupt and everyone with a small amount of common sense is moving out of the state. They should tie the city attorney to a chair and force him to watch Sesame Street for 72 hours straight and maybe he'd pick up on some basic math skills. -
Back your vehicle in so you don't have to turn it around. When they pull up, slip into your car and drive down. You at least have better protection if things did happen to escalate. Then you can see their reaction. If they get the hell out quick you might have a better chance to get a plate number. I'd rather take my chances in two tons of steel than on foot.

Louis Farrakhan: Gang Members Can Serve As Protectors UNIVERSITY VILLAGE — Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan told thousands of followers Sunday he was planning to reach out to gang leaders to help "protect" the Nation of Islam. That came at the Nation of Islam's annual Saviours' Day convention. Farrakhan, 79, renewed the call for blacks to pool money and buy as much land as possible, in order to "control means of production" and produce food and other goods, such as clothing. Farrakhan said collectively owning land is a way for black people in America to prosper economically. The calls were part of a speech that lasted more than three hours and touched on topics including Libya's Moammar Gadhafi, U.S. Defense Secretary nominee Chuck Hagel and a national push for gun control. Farrakhan told a crowd of more than 7,000 people that national lawmakers are using Chicago's violence epidemic to push for stronger gun control laws but said the Second Amendment has nothing to do with the spate of shootings in Chicago. "The guns that every one of our young people have, are they legal? No!" Farrakhan said. Instead, Farrakhan had a different idea for how to address gun violence. In addition to sending letters to black military leaders, Farrakhan said he planned to contact the city's gang leaders to recruit gang members to "protect" any land the Nation of Islam might buy in the future. "All you gangbangers, we know you love to shoot, but you're killing yourselves," Farrakhan said. "All your weapons are illegal and you're using them like savages." But Farrakhan said gangbangers are "natural soldiers" and could be taught "the science of war" to become protectors of the Nation of Islam's assets in the future. Last summer, Farrakhan led 500 men known as the Fruit of Islam, who traditionally serve in his security detail, to the city's Auburn Gresham neighborhood in response to the spike in violence in the first half of 2012. He praised the re-election of President Barack Obama as a significant historical milestone, but added that Obama's victory would not mean prosperity for black people. Farrakhan also decried the death of Gadhafi, who was killed in 2011. He blamed the former Libyan leader's death on American and European governments, saying they wanted Gadhafi dead because he was an "impediment" to American and European interests having access to natural resources in Africa. Farrakhan said he believes the American government also wanted to see black leaders like himself go away. "You killed my brother [Gadhafi], and now you got the same thing in your mind for me," Farrakhan thundered as the crowd rose to its feet applauding. "You want to put your hands on me. In fact, you're plotting it as I'm speaking." Read more: http://www.dnainfo.com/chicago/20130225/chicago/louis-farrakhan-gang-members-can-serve-as-protectors#ixzz2LvVUBxKQ Ain't Louie a hoot...

Spectracide Triazicide Insect Killer Granules you can pick it up at Home Depot or Lowes. Works like a charm.Kills all the stuff a growing mole likes to eat. I was sinking up to my knees untill I used this. It also kills ticks, fleas, ants of all types and teramites. You use a spreadeder to broadcast it in your yard then use a water hose to get it into the grass. Once the water dries your pets or kids can get right back in the yard again.

I think it sucks. Making that comment about a man that has spent his life in service to the USA saving an unknown amount of lives of servicemen in Iraq, then to come back and continue to help our troops on a one on one basis is beyond the comments from a politician. Ron Paul is not worthy of holding the urine bucket while Chris Kyle re-leaves himself in my opinion. As far as the "Treating PTSD" statement, Kyle wasn't an idiot. He thought the man was ready for the range. You can't always see the evil in a mans heart.

Since this comes from Alex Jones web site i'm not sure how sane it is. But after reading "Are American Gun Owners a Bunch of Fools?" I thought I'd post it anyway. Even a blowhard like Alex Jones gets it right sometimes. If someone beat me to the post, sorry for the duplication. Sorry to hear of the loss of your best friend. My condolences go out to you and your family. My wife and I started fostering abused beagles several years ago, but we never actually learned what the meaning of "foster" is because we fell in love with and kept them all. We are currently down to three beagles and have lost two in the last four years. They are truly my best friends. The more and more I am around people (and my children), the more I love my beagles.

My favorite is the Minotaur MTAC Holster made by Comp-Tac. Very comfortable, I forget I have it on at times. It also has interchangeable shells so you can carry any pistol. I have been carrying my Kimber for four years and have not yet seen any holster wear on the gun. Here's a link: http://www.comp-tac.com/product_info.php?products_id=95

Best DMV to file for carry permit?
StumpyBeagle replied to Luke E.'s topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I went to the DMV in Franklin three weeks ago to renew and I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I've already received my new permit too. I was shocked that it got here that fast. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD -
I've carried a Kimber CDP II Pro everyday for three years. I have had zero issues with the finish or the pistol. it looks as good as it did the day I bought it. The only issue i had was with the original Kimber magazine not feeding the last shell properly but I purcased three Wilson Combat 47d's when I bought the pistol and they have been flawless. The Kimber is a real tac driver. It's easy to carry and conceal, it's light, thin and comfortable. I looked at the EMP before buying the Kimber and decided that I'd rather have the .45 over the 9mm and .40.

Pursuit in Arizona - Live Suicide

I saw it as well, looked like the delay was only on their side while we watched it live. Looks like by his actions even before shooting himself that car jacker had some serious issues.
