Know someone that got in trouble for having a steak knife under his seat. Bought the car from an auction, was driving home. Tail light out. Officer pulled him, found the steak knife, ignored the paperwork saying the car had been brought hours before and charged him. The judge dropped the chargers, but even a cutlery set is a dangerous weapon we used every day.

Why are people hoarding .22? I can understand 9mm, but why .22? At least I can find .45 rather easily, but everything else is sold out or being bought like the stated at the very beginning.

I dont mind them at all. Spring Hill had a TON of awesome cops, but all the new ones and the franklin ones are turning into a bunch of dicks. I have about 6 officers living in my neighborhood and not one issue with a single one of them. Hell, I joke with one about all the different squad cards he gets.

Alabama dealer tag. Thats it. Wasnt even expired. Not speeding, failure to yield, just alabama dealer tag. Woman judge got him on not having registration for the car since he is in TN and not alabama.

Thanks for the imput, Ill give the .380 a try. I was looking for more of a fun gun to own. When I get my carry permit, Ill be carrying one of my 1911's. Or both!    Can you carry two pistols? If so, YES! :pleased:

I kept my cool and there was not speeding or doing anything wrong, it just frustrating to have him ride my ass for miles. And I know he was speeding since I saw him turning about a mile behind me and next thing you know, BAM, hes there. I used to know plenty of cool officers but all that seem to be around now are a bunch of dicks.

I know its against the law to tail gate someone, but why are police officers allowed to do it? I had a franklin sheriff ride my ass for a good 4 miles yesterday trying to (I am assuming) to get me to speed so he can pull me over. I usually take some back roads home due to walmart making a hell of 31 thru spring hill and this sheriff followed me almost home. I so wanted to break check him, but is this sort of behavior allowed? I wasnt speeding nor was anything wrong with the car. I guess they need to get their quotas up.

Its not even that, a friend of mine is a car dealer and a franklin cop pulled him over, ignored his papers and everything. He went to court and the judge was giving everyone a probation. Granted it wasnt judge Al Nations, but thats just a bit crazy. Im glad brentwood doesnt have a court. BWPD will try to get you for anything. Long gone is the days of cool and understanding police officers. They are becoming a rare breed.

Yeah, I get payed on the 5th, sucks being payed bi weekly, but at least I got all my cards payed off and my car repairs payed. And I guess its fate.

NOPE, definitely not worth it. Dont care about the fine nor the court costs. The last part is a plain nope.

Never mind. Just dont carry a loaded weapon in the car. I just need to go in and get a carry permit. Dunno why I keep putting it off. 

(e)  It is an exception to the application of this section that a person authorized to carry a handgun pursuant to § 39-17-1351 is transporting a rifle or shotgun in or on a privately-owned motor vehicle and the rifle or shotgun does not have ammunition in the chamber. However, the person does not violate this section by inserting ammunition into the chamber if the ammunition is inserted for purposes of justifiable self-defense pursuant to §  39-11-611 or §  39-11-612.   So, If am going somewhere sketchy, I am allowed to carry? In the vehicle at least? I got all the other parts down and a misdemeanor along with a fine (and probation like franklin is doing for everything) is not worth it.    On a side note, when I put it in i brought up the calculator. Threw me off.

Whats the punishment for carrying a pistol without a HCP? Googling this up gives me mostly what and what not to do. But not the punishment part of it.

Found another one for $250 and I am broke until next pay day. Not really broke, but not in a buying of anything short of food and gas mood.

I was also looking at the CZ's but isnt .32 auto along the lines of a .22?   I know, and I am tempted. But either way, this is just so I can set up a goal for the next few months. 

I was going to say shooting wise. I know how a 9mm handles and feels and also a .45. I had a short go with a .357 magnium and never fired a .40 nor a .380. I was going to starting saving for one down the line since the ppk is a good looking pistol. 

And that solves the issue. Still a bit murky, but I grasp the overall concept of it. 

    Not like that, but weapon laws. I should have been clearer with my question. (Deep down tho, bama sucks :yuck:)

I am always curious of why its set up that way. I know some states have different weapon laws, but one would think that two similar states would be allowed to do that stuff.
