    Sig P226 in .40

Never owned a sig before and found this P226 in a good price. How are they shooting and handling wise? I was gonna buy a regent R350cr, the gun shop sold it and all the ones I called around nashville/franklin/columbia dont have one. From all you sig lovers, how is it? Worth a move to it?
  2. Thats really awesome. The only thing I was able to make back in high school for a project was a pneumatic cannon. After the teacher saw my designs and plans, she said no me bringing in an air compressor. So I used a tire pump. Interlocking channels and valves. Made an orange fly!

    Last battle rifle

Last one for my collection, that way I have all the iconic .308's.....   My friend has a M1 garand, I have shot his three different ones. I didnt like any of them. They all fired great, just not my thing.   As for the M14, I would prefer to find one under 1k, but I will probably save up and get it for christmas. Looking at getting a bipod, scope mount and scope for the G3.
  4. Already have an FAL and finally got myself a G3. Now all I need is an M14 to complete this group. And I probably know the answer (good luck), but what is the cheapest place I can get one at? And compared to the other two rifles, would it be worth it?
  5. This is very tempting...... At least you can get to use it. All my 74 does is sit in a safe and cry due to ammo issues.
  6. Thats a new one for the book. No offence, but how does one break a finger when handling clothing? I hope it was jamming it against the washer or drier, hell even a basket or a bottle of bleach. Just please dont say while folding or loading.

    Bill of sale

    Yep, thanks.

    Bill of sale

Anyone have an easy and simple bill of sale templet that I could print so I can keep a record of a sale?    Almost forgot to add, its for a firearm.
  9. Remind me to go buy a car and scratch it before leaving the dealer lot and tell them I am "breaking it in"  :panic:
  10. I would post a photo of my toe, but its says fingers. Long story short, never kick metal with an ingrown toe nail, only to have it break and cut out the inside of the toe.
  11. So, standing silent ovation? Dont go too crazy with them.
  12. Only time I ever use ebay is for legos or misc parts for cars. Never could really trust it with gun parts.
  13. Its not all that uncomfortable, as much as it requires a good deal of adjusting to get used to   I never liked the wooded look, so I went in a found a polymer stock for it. All I have left to buy is a front tac rail and a top rail so I can mount a scope. This is gonna be a fun rifle. And HK parts has complete G3 parts kit minus the receiver. So I might just pick one up and turn it into a 80% G3. Everything will be german minus the receiver.
  14. yeah, a goal six years in the making. Always had a feeling that if i bought one, it wouldn't be the same. Feels that way for some odd reason.
  15. I hope you know I was joking. I used to mess with my brother by placing a whiskey bottle in between mario's paws when he was sleeping and calling him a good for nothing drunk. Aside from dobermans, I dont think I could do another breed as a life companion.
  16. Thats what I thought too, but considering how often I go shooting and the fact that the PRT and the HK G3 series rifles are so close when it comes to quality, I might just buy a surplus G3 parts kit later on and then swap out the parts. One thing that made me chuckle is the color scheme. Same as my C93. And they both have the carry handle. And its also a pain to remove. On, and I dont think that collapsible stock is for me. Gonna get a normal one soon.
  17. I always wanted a true HK G3, but is been always out of my price range. I finally went and got a PTR, only thing I dont like about it its the paratrooper model, so it has a 16" barrel vs a normal 18" barrel. But now I have two battle rifles with only the M14 left on the to do list. I am already dreading the ammo prices. But I am so happy!
  18. Dont give the mini a beer. Steer him toward whiskey.
  19. Dont hate me, but what makes them so good?
  20. Wait till you get a 15 round mag. So ugly, but its a great equalizer.
  21. The lack of dachshunds disturbs me.

    selling

Thats what I thought. New phone and annoying ass tapatalk. Thanks for the swift response.   "4. You understand that you may only list items that you own.  You may not offer up items on behalf of a friend or other third-party."   I swear, tapatalk and this phone are going to ruin me.
  23. whats the veredic for making posting for a friend? I will be using all his contact info, but somehow, that seems like I am violating one of the rules. Can someone please clarify for me?
  24. I used a PTAC parts kit and a PSA parts kit on two rifles. Cant really tell the difference. Both work great. No issues.
