Yeah, I also dont want to replace the rear end and get a custom drive shaft. If I can find a transmission close to my 68, it is going to be less work overall. I have thought about a four speed sagnaw, but I would still have to replace the rear end.

Decided to pick up a cheap pistol to pass the time with. Cheap as in had to be less than $400 (ram 2500 wheel bearings are expensive). And low and behold, we to academy and saw a taurus pt809. Always having been a taurus fan, I decided to give it a try. I am not disappointed. It is a LOT of fun to shoot and has everything I want in a 9mm. I only wish it was closer to a glock 19 size and not a 17. But otherwise, yall need to try one out.
