  1. I understand, I had their 1911, a pt 92 pt 99 and a 6in .357. All never gave me any issues and shot great. Was at academy one day and bought the pt 809 on a whim and it was great. I really want to try out the new TH9, but one has them in stock.
  2. All the tauruses I ever owned have been fantastic. In fact, I have been trying to hunt down another TP 809 and the damn things are impossible to find. And no one has the TH9 instock as well. Just trying to figure out why all the animosity towards the brand.
  3. Yep. BSA does have a complete 10.5 in 450 upper though. I am very tempted.
  4. Yeah, but I am planning on using a bear creek side charging upper. I cannot go back. I have seen the light and I have been converted. But I do have a PSA side charging upper that they sold years ago. I will not get rid of it.
  5. I was at kroger just imagening buying a whole cart full of random melons. And then using the remains as compost.
  6. That sounds awesome, but I have a lower just laying around and after building two pistols, im itching for something "exotic". I might go 300bk, but im unsure on the platform as a whole
  7. I know the range is abysmal, but thats not what I am building them for. In looking for a weird melon devastator. But they all seem to cost the same when it comes to rounds and build price.
  8. So, im planning on building a big bore and turns out there are three very similar cartridges. 450, 458 and .50b. So, ballistics are very similar, so the biggest question is, which one is the one with the most ammo and cheaper?. Also, how much of a range penalty will I get if I use a barrel shorter than 16in?
  9. I saw that one. Its just not quite right for the build I am trying to re finish.
  10. Thats cool actually, where do you get them at?
  11. Nah, that one is way off. I check all of the PSA handguards and came up with nothing.
  12. As the title states, I am looking for a handguard just like this one , and I cant seem to find it anywhere. I would hate to have to buy a whole upper just so I can move handguards around. I hate the handguard I bought.
  13. As long as it wasnt trapped in a tower by angry villagers, you should be good. I been using andersons for years. Bought spikes to try something different. I still dont know what the difference is besides a name and a logo. They both function the same. My only gripe with anderson is I wish they were darker. The black never matches the upper.
  14. Thinking back, I should have bought 10 space force lowers. Those look amazing.
  15. Oh no, i like anderson. But I forgot I sold the punisher lower I had in reserve to a friend. And my current rifle has a punisher. So I wanted the mini me to be the same. Oh well.
  16. I also ordered enough parts to build another pistol and they are all here. Had a un complete side charging upper. Now I am now on the hunt for a non anderson lower. The hunt is not going well. I should have bought more than two lower a year and a half ago. Everyone charges 50 bucks for a transfer fee so there is almost zero savings ordering online.
  17. I found the shockwave brace to be more of a hindrance and it didnt match the magpul furniture, so I threw a plain pistol buffer tube and called it a day.

    Cetme or PTR

I had both. Unfortunately I sold the my PTR and kept the cetmet. I miss my PTR every day. But not as much as my FAL. But yeah, PTR hands down.
  19. I ordered a FM-9 10.5in rail and it comes with its own barrel nut. Everything is ordered, now all I need is to find a spikes punisher lower.
  20. The gas block I got is adjustable
  21. I have a BCA side charging upper left over from a build I wrote off last year. So now, I want to use it on a new upper. I have tracked down the parts I need and want to know from someone with more experience if the list is right 1) 10.5 in barrel with a carbine length gas system https://www.bearcreekarsenal.com/b556cm410-518-ss 2) .750 low profile gas block (Ergo .750 low profile adjustable) 3) Gas tube carbine length (Stainless one, forgot the brand, have) 4)Flash hider ( Already have) 5) AR 15 barrel nut 6) Rail 7) Upper and bolt carrier group (already have) But I am having a little issue on the barrel nut and the rail. I keep seeing mixed info about it. Some say the rail will come with a barrel nut, others say it is separate. If someone can point me in the right direction, that will be awesome. All the parts marked orange are in my possession, so I dont need them. Unless someone can show me where to get a better part at a good price.
  22. Sorry, its .556. Ill edit my post. But I do have a .50 beowolf pistol in mind.
  23. I been a LONG time since I tinkered or build anything. So it was a toss up between building a .458 soccom rifle or a 5.56 pistol. Freaking PSA and their amazing deals. Now I own a new pistol. I will say, its pretty kick ass. Im probably going to build another one but without the front post and I will make it side charging, just like my rifle.
  24. Yeah, I have seen it before, I was just wondering how hard it would be to change this one. At his rate, im just going to get another punisher lower and call it a day.
  25. Hey man, if you thing about it, it will be the funniest #### to go shooting with a few friends.
