Ruger P90 45cal. Put crimson trace laser grips on it. It was a great shooting pistol, but traded it in for a Ruger sr40c that is easier to carry and my girlfriend liked the feel and recoil much better. I do miss it, but am buying another .45 later this year (maybe Sig 1911, not sure yet).

I called and left a message, want to take a look around. I'm needing a couple of items. I never meet him, but heard lots about him. Never was able to visit the club, every time I drove out there on a weekend instead of MCGC the gate was up.

I'm sure she was perfectly normal. After all, cars don't kill people the way evil guns do. /s

Would be nice! I would love to start collecting some military rifles (not even a Mosin Nagant yet but have been looking). My grandfather has a M1 that I want really bad but I will never get it, so maybe some imports will help the market and I can find/afford one.

I know I can get CCI for just a couple bucks more, and they are more reliable IMO.

Since he is only against lead bullets...just use non-lead bullets and ammo. :)

Yep, she needs to be responsible and actually learn more about what she is carrying. However, it is easier and fits the agenda to be in fear of the inanimate object and write posts about how easy it is to get a deadly weapon. It will be interesting to follow this story. Maybe she will visit a range and actually learn how to handle/shoot the weapon and realize that it is a tool to be respected but not feared.

I may give it a try, worst case they don't work and I store them until I begin casting. I've never shot lead before, always bought plated bullets, but since the powder coating prevents leading I figured it worth a try. I guess really my question should have been, does the hardness matter (I think not based on one of the above posts) and does it work with bullets that are shipped already lubed? I know some manufacturers lube and some don't.

Has anyone tried powder coating purchased lead cast bullets, such as from Falcon? Buying supplies this weekend with my neighbor and thought about getting Falcon lead bullets instead of plated stuff I have been using. If it would work, I know Falcon cast is .356, this post says the coat adds about .002 which means I would need to buy equipment and resize? Or would I need to slug my barrel and determine that for sure? I can continue buying the plated bullets instead of going with lead now, cost savings is only about $2 per 100 until I have the equipment to cast my own.

Dillon has their "no bullshit" customer service policy (I don't have Dillon products so no experience just word of mouth from some friends) but I will agree that RCBS certainly stands by their products and customers every but as much as any other brand out there. RCBS support has always been helpful for the couple of questions I have had, and I have heard many stories such as the OP stated where they send parts free of charge, even if it was not a mistake on their end.

If you plan on reloading in the next couple of years, just hang onto the brass. That is my opinion, I was saving brass a year before I ever got my press and stuff. In fact, I had 1k 9mm brass deprimed and cleaned before I ever had my press (hammer and punch to deprime).   My experience with buying brass is that it is usually mixed headstamp and most people are ok with that. I sort all of mine by headstamp but don't keep my brass seperated from range pickup.

I reload, so no need to buy ammo except .22lr.  My price for a 500 round box is $25 max, I don't remember paying over $20 though.   As for reloading supplies, it depends on how bad I need it and the specific item (obviously Barnes/Nosler .308 bullets will be more expensive than .355 FMJs). Today for example I passed on CCI small pistol primers at $50 per 1k. Teds has several boxes, but I know that inventory is coming back in stock and prices are falling - a couple of months back I would have paid the $50. I know I can get these primers for around $35 I just have to visit the right store.   I also found some Tulla primers for $31.99 and passed on them but only because of the brand.

My bench is in the garage (the walls are insulated), but I store powder and primers inside the house in a closet. No dehumidifier in either location. I have an automatic adjustable thermostat that switches temperature inside 3 times a day - I was told this helps with humidity but I am not sure how much.

I have not seen powder on the targets, but 4.0 grains of Titegroup results in some powder blowing back onto my wrists. I have been using plated 124 grain bullets, the 4 grains results in better accuracy but 3.8 grains does not cause the powder blow back. I am not sure it is a pressure issue as much as the barrel is too short to allow the full burn (4.5 inch barrel for my 9mm).

Good luck with the purchase. Reloading is a great hobby that I enjoy about as much as shooting. I use a RCBS turret, good compromise in price and speed vs a progressive kit since I reload pistol and rifle.
