  1. My 9mm are right around 15 cents per round right now but only because I haven't bought in bulk. I have a RCBS turret press and love it. Faster than single stage but cheaper than a progressive. Its easy to deprime/size and rotate to expand, then rotate back for the next brass.
  2. I am considering going, need more 9mm bullets to reload. Once I drive out there and pay the admission fee it is cheaper to just order online though. I'll make up my mind Saturday morning.
  3. Yeah I saw it, hilarious. What did they expect since it is being aired live?
  4. OK thanks...I found some that say Polyester TGIC, cure 400F. I guess I missed your earlier post.
  5. What powder or type are y'all using from Powder by the Pound? There is a bunch of options on the website... I have red HF now but haven't began any testing.
  6. AH Reloading had a bunch for $36 per 1k the other day. I bought 3k total.
  7. Not going to verify Lester's math, but 601 tries will take a while. And some models (mini vault anyways) has an alarm (beep and light flash) and lockout after incorrect tries. Edit - Amazon and GunVault say "more than 12 million user selectable codes"
  8. Interesting that was buried in the Finance section... I found it on Twitter.
  9. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/zimmerman-prosecutor-angela-corey-criminally-120000903.html Angela Corey was charged...explains why she has been hiding during this trial.
  10. I have a Gun vault mini vault deluxe (power with battery backup, light, and alarm), molded handprint touch pad (I don't trust the biometric scanner in an emergency). I like it, cabled to the bed frame for me. Easy to access but keeps the kid out. I would definitely purchase again, in fact have been considering one for my office. The micro vault did seem more flimsy but for a free minutes while you run into a building, etc it should be fine.
  11. I have no clue, but what is the headstamp? Should be able to find some info that way...
  12. Seems they have cancelled the rest of the posts... The "NRA bullies" made threats.... http://mobile.nytimes.com/blogs/nocera/2013/06/21/the-gun-report-june-21-2013/
  13. This was covered somewhere, forget if it was just mentioned by Andrew or if was stated in the live trial (I think it was stated in trial by the defense). GZ does write with his left hand but carries and shoots with his right. My understanding is not fully ambidextrous but is 'carry over' in his abilities.
  14. Its going to be interesting once the trial is fully over. I don't think TN cities will have anything to worry about but Florida and some other places, definitely. I wonder how many other self defense shootings will be seen once the riots start? Too bad most of the people making the threats don't appear to have the intelligence to understand exactly what they are proposing and the consequences of their actions....but we all know the education and parenting system are broken.
  15. Tons of tweets all across the country of people saying they will riot, and some saying they are going out to kill a Hispanic or white kid when Zimmerman gets off. Why doesn't Prism do something about the death and riot threats (domestic terrorism?). /s
  16. RCBS RockChucker is a very good single stage.    One thing to keep in mind is up front price vs quality and long term "cost to own". When I purchased my equipment I stayed away from some of the cheaper brands that only have a 1-2 year warranty and purchased Hornady/RCBS equipment that has lifetime warranties. The bigger companies do cost a bit more up front than some of the Lee kits for example but have a better warranty and they truly stand by their products. Not knocking Lee as I know some of their stuff is great and lasts forever, but I like knowing my equipment is covered when something breaks in 5 years.
  17. Yep, who profiled?   Going back to W8, I was LMAO when she told West to go on and continue with his questions. He just smiled and said he had to think. I forget exactly how it was worded, but something like "go on...I said go on..."   Just as good as the "WHAT!?!" at the end.
  18. Awesome, thanks a bunch Caster!
  19. I am needing the Sierra data for 30-06 Springfield. I can usually find the information online from somewhere but am coming up short this time. Does anyone have the Sierra 5th edition manual, and would it be possible for you to scan/upload the 30-06 data, specifically the 180 grain data? Or if you know an online resource that has Sierra's full data, I would appreciate it. I am purchasing the manual soon just don't have it yet.
  20. I have only had one brass stuck in a die so far, Federal 30-06 brass and the rim tore/bent and pulled out of the shell holder. I had the RCBS stuck case remover and in a few minutes had the case removed with no harm to the die. This happened the one and only time I tried using Mica... (Following a friends instruction).
  21. Mythbusters did that a couple of years back... Impressive though.
  22. I missed part of the eye witness roast..left work at 4:00 central so missed the FB finding and all. Trying to catch up now...
  23. Where is week 2? Haven't seen it in her site or Huffington Post...
  24. I was avoiding that can of worms. :) Btw I meant Swabbed not swapped. Auto correct on my phone...
  25. I have stayed out of the discussions about the case until now but have followed the case and these threads closely. I have watched the live coverage the past 2 days, and one thing that really caught my attention today is that the CSI tech admitted they did not spray the grass/sidewalk for blood, just looked for obvious blood evidence using flashlights. This was up to a couple hours after the fight/shooting and it had been "drizzling" rain during that time. I sent Andrew a tweet, would really like his and others thoughts on the way the crime scene was investigated. It sounded like several pieces of evidence were not fully/correctly processed? Swabbed but not sent to a lab, etc? Did I understand correctly?
