  1. Signed. Over 72k already.
  2. I don't understand the comment about may be difficult to track down as owner may not have the serial numbers... I have serial numbers recorded and even receipts for all my more expensive stuff besides just firearm related. It seems like common sense to me just in case, but I guess not everyone keeps records.
  3. Good luck, I've been sending mine out for the past couple of months. I've been at my current position over a year and a half, for the past 6 months in a row have been overlooked for my promised raise with some BS excuse each time while the rest of the office gets raises and bonuses. Got to be thankful I have something to pay the bills with though.
  4. What is really sorry about this, it took days for the story to get out. Yes there was a weekend but still should have seen reports before this morning. Also, anyone see where the ACLU sent Holder a letter saying to drop the investigation? Not sure when this happened, just saw it reported on Twitter.
  5. My fiance is a licensed cosmetologist, was working in a salon but now works from home to watch our 9 month old daughter. She has all of the professional grade supplies, so I haven't paid for a haircut in years. Saves me a lot of money vs going somewhere once a month.
  6. I just got an email from Twitter saying they reset my password and it will have to be changed at the next logon. Not sure if they were compromised or just being cautious...
  7. Range report - was only able to shoot about 10 rounds today, but they worked great. No smoke (except the normal from TiteGroup powder). I was hoping to be able to load/shoot the .357/.358 bullets but my 9mm has a tight chamber and the couple of dummy rounds I created did not pass the plunk test. I was able to find some that measured .356 and shot, they appeared fully coated but the size did not increase.   Anyways, waiting on a sizer now (my neighbor said he has one I just have to get it) and will shoot up the rest. the 10 today were very accurate.
  8. Meant investigation and then any bs charges they throw at him.
  9. Did you try removing the decapping rod and use something to tap the case down/out of the die? A punch or small socket extension depending on the caliber. I'm a good hour away or would help you out.
  10. Yes, and he could go buy a new pistol today, he just isn't getting the one in evidence back (I assume until the federal charges are all dismissed).
  11. Really no way to tell. You could pull a bullet and dump/measure the powder, but you don't know the type of powder so not much help except to make sure not over charged if compared to some manuals. Are these factory reloads, or just from a stranger?
  12. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/07/19/brad-thor-offers-to-buy-george-zimmerman-a-new-gun-after-doj-puts-hold-on-trial-evidence/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=story&utm_campaign=Share%20Buttons Brad Thor is offering to buy anything GZ wants.
  13. I thought the guy in Antioch was shot? Wasn't it an elderly man? I saw the post on Twitter but now can't find it.
  14. These were not lubed. It sounds like there are a couple of simple ways to remove the lube though - bake as suggested by Dolomite or use acetone/thinner. I wonder how much of a difference the lube would make if you tried to PC over? I'm hoping to go shoot these tomorrow.
  15. Finally got around to testing this powder coat. I used laquer thinner and Powder Buy the Pound brown red powder (also have olive drab but not used it yet). Baked at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. The wire is aluminum screening like for a door/window. Bullets are Flacon Bullets 115 grain, sized at .356. After the powder coat sizes are from .357 to .358. Here is the first batch of 50. Used an even 1/2 teaspoon of powder and approx. 1 cup of thinner. 2nd batch - used a heaping 1/2 teaspoon and almost 2 cups of thinner. Seems to have worked better, neither of these pictures are all that great but this 2nd picture looks much closer to the actual bullets whereas the first batch are a bit spotty.
  16. I blame my phone. Youre sometimes corrects to you're and sometimes to your. Maybe I should just start spelling you are...
  17. You're holding your gun wrong... Hear that quite a bit at the range, everyone thinks they are an expert.
  18. Anyone else seen this yet? Angela Corey Downfall....   http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=svjISYrTMyk
  19. Betty's Parkway in Columbia. Some awesome steaks. Also Shaffer Farms meat shop in Summertown, very good brisket and stuff plus fresh meat to take back home.
  20. Trimming brass sucks.... I do not trim pistol brass, and use the Hornady cam lock trimmer for all my rifle brass. It is a manual trimmer, but works well and the price ($75ish) isn't too bad.
  21. If you get a tumbler, skip buying the reloading media and instead go to Walmart or a pet store and pickup lizard bedding. It is fine walnut. seems to work better and is much cheaper than the "real" media from Lyman or RCBS.
  22. I have been shooting Rainer and Powerbond plated in my 9mm. Also, Rocky Mountain Reloading has good prices on plated, 1k shipped for $95. I haven't shot these yet but they look good and heard great things. Getting ready to try some Falcon Bullets and maybe other cast, but am powder coating per the other thread.
  23. Correct verdict in a case that never should have happened. Unfortunately GZ life will never be normal again, but he has some lawsuits he can file to pay off his defense team and move to a better location.
  24. Am putting a new one in now. O'Reilly is about the only parts store I shop at
  25. 2009 Ranger XLT, 4.0. Its 4x2 and auto. I've put just over 86k miles in less than 5 years, and this is first real issue but its one of those things that happen.
