I have looked at that Bushmaster but the carbon fiber receivers pushed me away. Still that is about the best price I remember seeing recently for that model, especially with the free mags.

I am really tempted to order one. Wish I had filed for a C&R license earlier this year to avoid going through a dealer. If these remain in stock for a while I may just grab my first Nagant. Otherwise I'll wait and watch Black Friday sales from a few places.

For anyone else who visits, the Zoo is incredible. Much better than Nashville and it is free to get in. I had heard/read it is one of the top in the country, not sure since I've only visited a few, but they have a bunch of species including a few I had not seen live before. The Union Station mall was neat - kind of small store selection but The Fudgery was worth the visit. Changed our plans a bit so heading to the City Museum and Busch tour tomorrow. Staying out of East St Louis, but still heard some gun shots downtown. Stopped at a red light yesterday, 4 shots (sounded like a 9mm) and a couple guys came running around an apartment complex. We took out quickly...

Electronic Express usually starts their sale at least the day before. That is how I got my last TV. For the most part, most retailers sale prices are valid online so you could buy and then go pick up later. I do almost all of my shopping online the past few years and skip the crowds.

A Veterans day message from me, and a request from Veterans.
TNMTBik3r replied to a topic in General Chat
No pics available right now, but I have a lot of vets in my family. My uncle has a purple heart and bronze star from 'Nam. Father and Grandfather served in the Army and other various relatives served at some point. I never enlisted myself, I strongly considered it but instead went to work. A huge thank you goes out to all who served anf families of those who have served! -
I've been to Cabelas, figure they are all mostly the same but may go if we have time. Wanted to go to Grants Farm but website says they closed last week for the winter. I had heard mixed reviews on the city museum from a few friends but I think we are going to stop there. But skipping the aquarium... I knew there were several cathedrals around, not my think but she would like to get some pics. And the mall - of course she wants to shop :-) Thanks for the ideas!

I'm in St Louis this week, is there anything that is a must do - attraction or food. On our honeymoon so not everything is for me... Staying in Maryland Heights so on the west side of the city. Already spent a while at the Arch today. Tomorrow we are considering the zoo depending on weather, botanical garden for her, and the Anheuser Busch brewery tour. Also looking for some good BBQ! On Thursday am running over to Sedalia and stopping at Sierra Bullet Co. for the tour and some bullet seconds.

Best the campaign, I didn't really time it right today but took around 4.5 hours I think total. Campaign had some really nest stuff like underwater and space levels. Played online for am hour, and now am bored with the game and had to shut it off. Multiplayer just didn't grab me with this one but will try again tomorrow.

I played almost 4 hours last night on campaign, I always best campaign then go online. Will finish it and be online tonight on ps3. Pretty good game so far, campaign seems to be a bit longer than the previous titles but not positive.

Picking it up tomorrow after work for ps3.

Thanks, entered. I have a FB account strictly to enter giveaways and this is a great one.

Yikes, glad it wasn't' worse. I really hate how you have to pull the trigger to take down most of the striker fired pistols. My Ruger you do not have too, but on my Smith you do. The manufacturers are throwing safety out the window with this 'feature' - what happened to don't touch the trigger unless you mean to shoot....

6 People signed up for ACA on Day 1
TNMTBik3r replied to Hozzie's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Hard to sign up when the site is down. Most want 99.99xx% uptime, ACA website has about 99.9999% downtime from what I can see. I did get an account created finally but still can't get through anything to see my actual prices, not going to take the insurance was just curious. The estimates that were finally posted (link on the main site page) are higher than what I am eligible for through my employer (which almost doubled on me for the same coverage). -
Hitler Learns of Obamacare Website Problems

Love the Hitler videos, I really should watch Downfall at some point. -
Sounds like the past couple of COD - 4 hours to beat campaign on hard difficulty. I am going to wait and try to get BF4 on sale in a few weeks.
-
I have COD Ghosts pre-ordered for PS3. I am thinking about grabbing Battlefield 4 even though I never really got into the earlier ones.

Bracken's "Enemies" trilogy free on kindle.
TNMTBik3r replied to Chucktshoes's topic in General Chat
I've downloaded both and just started reading the first one. Gives me something to do at work. Have the third one saved for next week's sale. -
Last I heard someone said this summer? I wonder if that was just to continue the 4 lanes down to Peytonsville. And 2016 for the overpass rebuild and full connecting 4 lanes? Regardless, they should have done more last time instead of stopping so short. All they did was move the parking lot south a couple miles in the afternoon.

I'll drink a couple while prepping brass. I have sipped a beer while reloading with a friend who wasn't drinking, but lately have avoided that. I always have the radio going when I'm in the garage loading, don't find it to be a distraction. And I hand prime pistol brass while watching TV.
-
I65 between 96 and 840 quickly turns into a parking lot both directions. Cannot wait, maybe sometime next summer they will finish 4 lanes to 840. I wish they hadn't stopped short of Goose Creek and just went the whole way earlier.

Well there are some notable exceptions. And Tanker, what an experience. Nashville is big/bad enough for me, I have no desire to travel anything bigger. Unfortunately I'm going to be spending several days in St. Louis in a couple weeks and I know I'll have pay extra attention to what's going on.

I live on the western side of Columbia, adds about 20 minutes to my drive to Brentwood. I can't wait to move back to the Columbia/Spring Hill border.

Even taking into account the stolen and unregistered arms commonly found in some communities (yes its a stereotype but often accurate), I think there is a strong imbalance. I mean, how many gangsters do you see with a deer rifle out hunting? The mistake was getting out of the car. Especially with no kind of plan. I would say a group of teenagers is worse to deal with than adults - usually some common sense is obtained by age of 21 or so.

All I can think about is the scene in The Expendables with him and Stallone, kidding each other about how one wants to be President and the other just runs through the jungle. Like his movies. But by no means is he a a viable candidate.

Maury County (Spring Hill and Columbia) may be an option for you. Lower taxes than Davidson or Williamson county. I'm not sure how Rutherford compares...
