Source/link? Everything I am finding is 9-14 hours old right now, with no mention of it passing. The latest news is still the failed 10-1 vote.

Must be nice! My drive to/from work uses 4-5 gallons each day depending on traffic.

Cannot believe I have overlooked something this simple. I have an electric grinder I use to grind venison burger (BTW, 3 or 4 deer a year helps save a lot vs buying meat). Need to start watching for some deals on stuff I can grind instead of buying ground burger.

We do almost all our shopping at WalMart. Always seems cheaper than going to Kroger - wife does price match for the times when Kroger or other store is cheaper and use coupons as she remembers. She has talked about trying to get into a type of extreme couponing, just to get a lower bill not necessarily to stock on stuff we don't need like a ton of peanut butter. It is a 30 minute drive to Publix and we never seem do it. Do visit Sams occasionally for meat and some bulk items, please we get meat at a meat market and Piggly Wiggly sometimes (PW seems expensive too). What are some other stores y'all shop at?

Family of 3, we spend about $400 a month. One big shopping trip, and then usually a small trip for milk and whatever. We could cut back and need to, fewer steaks for example.

Several people were at Maury County Gun Club today with some toys that they had took to shoot or bought at Knob Creek yesterday. Had some cool stuff, one of the guys was from LA and Red Jacket Firearms.

I have driven the 5 minutes twice, and both times hated myself after. Some family used to go and they never thought it was worth the entrance fee either. The Goodman show in Nashville is higher on my list.

No, even that image is too scary. Remember, Machete Kills.......

Stopped in a couple times, friendly staff but not too impressed with their prices or on hand inventory. It isn't a large shop so can understand the inventory limitations, and the couple items I asked about they seemed willing to negotiate a bit. Not my first choice but they aren't very far down the list, only a few places in the Columbia area I am willing to continue supporting.

Had a bug hit my house last week, I didn't go to the Dr. but my daughter did, pediatrician said stomach virus. It spread really quick, sister in law came over for 5 minutes and she caught it, Dr told her it was a strain of flu. Fever, sick to the stomach, but it passed in 2 days for all of us. Hope it passes quickly for you!

Very bad situation. Wonder if details will be released, hard to imagine mistaken identity if the two were turkey hunting together. And would have to be within what, about 40-50 yards to be deadly (to a person) with turkey shot to the head?

I have the Aim NiB BCG, no issues with it. Very easy to clean up, it is very slick but I keep it lubed anyways.

Quick Google search seems to show this could be an issue with the cable. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4326234?start=180&tstart=0

Not cataracts, but I had LASIK to correct a severe astigmatism. Quality of life is much better, no more messing with contacts in the morning and before bed. And the eye tests say I have 20/15 vision now, much better than even with contacts or glasses. Shooting, my rifle groups (same rifle, same load) have shrunk slightly but pistol is still about the same. I'm not sure the rifle groups are because of my vision or just increased experience.

Wish I could find a deal like that, I need a few more cans. -

Dump them in a zip lock bag, label the bag and then place in the ammo can. Use a desiccant pack as needed in your storage environment. -
Figured would post this in case anyone was looking for a good deal on some lights. I bought one of the TT-4 lights with plans to mount on my AR. BTW, any thoughts on a good light mount? I am looking at the Troy VTAC mount. http://www.batteryjunction.com/terralux-tt-series.html?utm_source=2014_4_1_TT_Flash&utm_medium=facebook_ads&utm_campaign=2014_4_1_TT_Flash

Any TGO folks ever used one of these?
TNMTBik3r replied to Luke E.'s topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I hand prime everything so don't worry about the primer tubes. But when I did have to fill the tubes, I hated it - although not enough to spend the original $50 (and maybe not even $25) for a tool to help. I think they have been around for a while, heard them mentioned several times (although the FA brand one could be newer). -
What do you think about this? More .22lr for all! http://www.guns.com/2014/04/01/new-3d-printed-rimfire-ammo-end-ammo-drought/

The yogurt container picture makes me feel that way as well. But what if??

Not sure if this is some sort of April Fools joke, or if it is legit. Google search is finding it on a couple of different websites... If this is legit, I actually kind of like the idea. Yes, the cost per ounce is higher but if you are wanting to test a powder then this makes sense vs buying a full pound for 3x the cost and potentially having a pound of powder you do not like sitting taking up space. It would certainly not be for everyone but would be great for testing new powders. http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2014/04/dot-approves-new-1000-grain-2-3-oz-powder-containers/ Here’s big (and small) news for reloaders — get ready for smaller powder containers. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) recently approved new smaller containers for shipment of smokeless powder. The new containers are designed to hold 1000 grains, exactly one-seventh of a pound. That works out to 2.29 ounces of powder — quite a bit less that you are getting currently with one-pound (16 oz.) containers............

BREAKING Better buy all the 5.45 you can find
TNMTBik3r replied to mcordell's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Found this on the Arfcom thread, take it with a grain of salt obviously. But if the issue did start with the overseas manufacture then any ban would be complete BS. I just spoke to Ms Dickenson from the ATF who wrote the email, she stated that it was banned because a pistol was made in 5.45x39. I asked which company made it and she said the Polish Radom company made it, it's the Radom 89 Onyks. She didn't know if they were being imported here and referred me to her branch chief who I'm waiting a call back from but I don't know who would have tried to import this as a handgun and if they did, they're just a bunch of inconsiderate jerks. I'm concerned though that they may have banned the round based on the handgun being manufactured overseas and not imported here. If that's the case then I think this should be able to be fought. -
