  1. Already a big topic on this. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17281
  2. It's better than yesterday. They were showing the complete DOBs.
  3. I have heard a lot of stories about the timing being off on their revolvers. It's unfortunate that they won't (or can't) make things right. Are their pistols any better?
  4. Open Office. http://www.openoffice.org/
  5. Remember that a C&R license is a collector license. It is not a license to be a firearms dealer. You are considered to be a private collector. You do not need a storefront.
  6. To win a settlement against McDonalds.
  7. I sent an email the Commercial Appeal yesterday complaining about displaying full names and complete dates of birth, as this could be used for identity theft purposes. I hope others sent similar emails. Looks like it did some good. I feel somewhat better now that addresses and complete DOBs are gone, but we need to get legislation passed to prevent this type of disclosure in the first place.
  8. Looks like the NRA has joined the fray.
  9. Do you? The new regulation only says that the firearm must be concealed, and must be carried according to state law. Nothing about a permit is mentioned. Seems to me that, if a state allows concealed carry without a permit, you would still be able to carry on DOI land. Open carry seems to be the only thing prohibited. Maybe I am missing something, though.
  10. +1 What "NPS gun ban" is the GOA talking about?
  11. See if you can use a family member's email to sign up. Hopefully they have a pay email account you can use. Once you sign up and your account is approved, AR15.com will let you change your email to a free account. You just need a pay account to sign up.
  12. Gmail is a free service, so probably not. Who is your ISP? Do you not have an email through them?
  13. I would say that the best 10/22 mags out there are made by Tactical Innovations. They aren't cheap, but they are very good. If you go with Butler Creek, look for the Steel Lips version. They have better feeding reliability. Ram-Line mags are decent mags as well. I am not too familiar with Eagle mags.
  14. But sometimes I would like to beat the crap out of them.
  15. Every day carry.
  16. You don't engrave a number. You engrave your name, city and state. Anybody can do it, as long as the engraving meets ATF specs. You could take it to the local trophy shop if you want, but I have seen some really screwed up engraving come out of trophy shops. I would take to someone who specializes in engraving firearms.
  17. Naifeh got one last year after he got hammered by complaints for killing all the pro-gun bills in committee. I guess he thought it would fool people into thinking he is not anti-gun. Of course, we all know better.
  18. Great. I was hoping they would be angry, and vote him out in the next election. Looks like that won't be the case. :-\
  19. What is the reaction from Williams' constituents regarding his little stunt to become Speaker? Someone may have posted it, and I may have missed it. Just curious as to what they think about everything that has happened.
  20. TCA 39-17-1311 only applies to parks run by municipal, county and state government. It does not apply to federal parks. There was a provision in the federal rule change that linked it to state park laws, but that was removed.
  21. I saw the video of it. Pretty bad. RIP
  22. The new regulation specifically says "concealed."
  23. As others have said, Fiocchi is good ammo. I can't speak for the 9mm, but several years ago, I purchased 500 rounds of Fiocchi 180gr FMJ .40S&W. I shot all of it out of my SIG P229 without a single problem. Accuracy was okay, but I seem to shoot the P229 better with lighter grained ammo, and the Fiocchi was no different than other 180gr ammo I have used. I have never tried their JHP ammo.
  24. Welcome to TGO
  25. She's a cutie!
