As far as I know, there is nothing in the HCP qualifications that specifically addresses convictions on drug crimes. The only thing I am aware of is that you cannot be a user or addicted to controlled substances. As follows: Of course, any indictment for a felony, or a felony conviction would disqualify someone for a TN HCP. Yes, you can own both. Yes. The question you need to ask yourself is: Do I have a legal reason to possess the short-barreled upper? If the answer is yes, then you are fine. There is no law prohibiting owning multiple uppers for your AR pistol. One caveat: If you do have multiple short-barreled uppers, I would make sure the you have a legal upper in place for all of your non-SBR rifle lowers. I am not sure if that is legally required, but it would be prudent in order to avoid any kind of constructive possession issues.

I went for a little while. I was looking for a pistol upper, but I didn't find much to buy either. Ammo prices were high, and so were the AR prices. However, I did not see any $1400 Doublestar ARs like I did at the Goodman show last month. A dealer on the upper deck had a FN SCAR for $7500. I think it was Specialty Arms. I did sign up for the DPMS AR giveaway.
