  1. I like pie, too.
  2. I think PETA has found their future president.
  3. I have shot at the Natchez Trace SP range quite a bit (I grew up in Lexington), and it is a nice little range. Heck, I used to shoot there back in the early to mid 1980s when it was just an open area and a backstop. It is a nice range, but (as Creeky pointed out) it is designed poorly, as the pistol range is downrange of the rifle shooters. I have no idea why they did it that way. Just watch your back if you are shooting on the pistol range. I have seen a few people come and pull out their rifles to shoot on the rifle side, while there are shooters down on the pistol side.
  4. I have a couple boxes of Cor-Bon .40 S&W +P ammo. Bought them back in the 1990's, and still have not shot them. The shell casings are also stamped "40S&W+P". I have not seen any labeled like that for many years. ETA: I got the Cor-Bon ammo out and looked at it. The box is labeled as +P 135gr. JHP @ 1300 fps. That is pretty much in line with the velocities I see for .40 ammo at that weight. I am not sure why it is labeled as +P.
  5. I am not a Budweiser fan, but the tour sounds very interesting. If I ever get the chance, I'll take it.
  6. Yeah, but the FBI is super-duper secret squirrel. They would not want their guns marked.
  7. I found this about the 1046. Interesting that the serial number of the 1046 on the GB auction starts with TVA, seems coincide with what the writer says.
  8. Measurement is a straight line extending from the tip of the blade to the forward-most aspect of the hilt or handle.
  9. If there was an actual opinion issued on this matter, it should be included on the AG's website: http://tn.gov/attorneygeneral/opyear.htm
  10. Depends on her age. If she is a minor, then it is legal.
  11. If I take your carbine course, I would be interested to see how much Wolf I could shoot before any problems occur. With a quick cleaning during lunch, and good one at the end of the day, I would like to see how the Wolf would perform. I'd still like to put the Wolf through it's paces (especially with the price of ammo these days). I have a couple thousand rounds of Wolf MC waiting. Of course, I'd bring a supply of brass cased ammo as backup.
  12. I have had zero problems with Wolf in my ARs...........so far.
  13. I hope Obama at least gave him Region 2 DVDs, as US Region 1 DVDs will not play on the players in Great Britain. Maybe Brown has a region-free DVD player.
  14. Depends on the circumstances. The OP should make sure he is not running afoul of the law. TCA 39-13-606 states:
  15. You should have changed it to "Wolfram." That is more badass sounding! (and still in keeping with the metallic theme)
  16. I couldn't disagree more. The AG is the authority on TN law. Better to get an informed opinion than to carry a weapon you think is legal.
  17. Yeah, that would be the only opinion that would matter. Although, I have a feeling I know what the answer will be.
  18. I quit watching after 8 seconds when they said that 9/11 was a staged event. That tells me that whatever else they have to say is pure tin-foil BS.
  19. I am not aware of any instances of self-defense where handloads have caused any problems, but I am aware of one case where handloads really screwed over a guy in a court case. Here is a pretty good write-up on the case by Massad Ayoob. The Daniel Bias case: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0BTT/is_181_30/ai_n26806104 Granted, that case is not a self-defense case, but it does illustrate how a prosecutor can go after someone due to an issue related to handloads. My personal advice: use handloads for practice, target shooting, and hunting; use factory ammo for defense purposes.
  20. A non-binding UN resolution. Wow. I am so scared. :-\
  21. Welcome! I've been to GFA a few times, and purchased my Glock 23 there.
  22. You do realize that TheObamaforum.com is a parody?. Right? It's not real.
  23. Sorry for your loss. You and your family have my sympathy.
