  1. Double tap.
  2. Here is what the ATF says: http://www.atf.gov/firearms/faq/faq2.htm#b1 As long as the person is a TN resident, and you have no reason to believe he is prohibited from owning a firearm, it would be a legal sale. If the gun is used in a crime and recovered, a firearms trace would lead back to you, but all you would need to say is that you sold it to a TN resident. If you want, have the buyer sign a bill of sale. That way you will have a record of who you sold it to.
  3. I would make sure you are selling to a TN resident (ask for ID). Selling a handgun to someone out of state without a FFL involved can get you into trouble.
  4. Be careful posting Onion videos, some people think they are real. I want those inferno bullets! They sound badass.
  5. I read plenty, but I leave the FEMA conspiracy stuff to the people who lack the intelligence to read things based on common sense and fact.
  6. So....I guess you are unable to cite the law to support your statements. No surprise there.
  7. Yeah, FEMA. They really scare me. FEMA did such a good job during Hurricane Katrina. I'm sure their evil plan to enslave the American populace in their detention camps is just around the corner.
  8. Please cite the law that says asking for allegiance is treason. I just read the treason statute (18 USC 2381), and I don't see anything like that in there. Is it somewhere else? And exactly who would you call on these pesky Obama supporters? The local police? FBI? US Attorney? Please let us know.
  9. Meh. I like mine better. I much prefer common sense and fact over paranoia and hysteria. Well, bye.
  10. I agree. I am against mandatory service, as well. I just don't see it in this bill.
  11. I can't figure out what sections the AtlasShrugs2000 is whining about. That "section 120" says nothing of making "service learning" a mandatory requirement in schools. And I can't even find "Section 6104" in the bill. Even if I did, investigating whether mandatory service is workable/reasonable, is a far cry from actually making it mandatory.
  12. Yeah, really. I followed the links. Did you actually read the links? I see nothing in there about pledging "loyalty to Obama," as everybody seems to think. It's BS. I do see them asking people to support some of his policies. Other presidents have done that, as well. It is not the first time people have gone door to door, asking someone to support a politician and their policies. It happens all the time. Nothing new here. I don't like Obama's policies, and I did not vote for him, but I see nothing wrong with people trying to drum up support for his policies. If anything, we need more of that on the Conservative/Republican side. Unfortunately, the Dems are much better in the area of "grass roots" organization. Everybody has a hissy fit over the word "pledge." Fine. Go ahead. I'll leave them to wallow in their paranoia.
  13. I think it is. I did a Google search for this story, and it only seems to come up on the anti-Obama type websites/blogs. No reports from a legitimate news source. It's BS.
  14. I don't know the answer to that. The DMV worker clearly made a mistake by issuing your wife a temporary permit. It goes against what is clearly stated on the TDOS website.
  15. Ha! Ha! Looks like the DVDs were the wrong region code for UK DVD players. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mandrake/5011941/Gordon-Brown-is-frustrated-by-Psycho-in-No-10.html
  16. Unfortunately, I saw that from a bunch of gun stores back when the 1994 AWB went into effect. Glock was going to start shipping their pistols with only one mag. Magically, all the second mags disappeared from the pistols already in stock, and suddenly the guns stores were flush with extra Glock mags for $80 each. Sad. Hopefully, it won't happen in this case.
  17. Already a thread on this, and it seems they are backing away from the story. TSA is denying the program's cancellation. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18875
  18. Good luck on finding .380 anywhere.
  19. I have heard good things about the SIG Pro pistols, although I prefer the classic P series. If you are in the market for a polymer-framed SIG, then I would definitely go with the SP2022 over the P250. The P250s seem to have some quality issues.
  20. Sabre makes top notch stuff. I own one of their ARs, and it has been excellent. I am not a fan of the one-piece polymer lowers, but if you like it, then go for it. Actually, Cavalry Arms makes the polymer lowers for Sabre Defence.
  21. What's going on in here?
  22. I doubt I will keep one in the car even if the law passes. Personally, I do not like keeping guns in my car unattended. My car is not a favorite of the criminals, but I don't want to risk a firearm being stolen. However, I do hope the law passes. I would like to have the option.
  23. Martha MacCallum + Geraldo takes a spill = Excellent video
  24. I usually watch Fox News, but I turn to something else when Geraldo comes on. Geraldo =
  25. As previously posted, you can't carry at all in Chicago. And it is not just Chicago, it's the whole state of Illinois.
