Yes, the Brown Bear is lacquer coated steel. Silver Bear is zinc coated, and the Golden Bear is brass coated. All are made by Barnaul.

Brown Bear ammo is good stuff. You won't win any accuracy competitions with it, but it is great stuff for shooting and plinking.

TICS also checks for stolen firearms. The make/model/caliber/serial number of the firearm are entered into the TICS system at the time of purchase. Every once in a while, you actually get a stolen hit.

I have the Vickers Tactical extended release on both my G19 and G23. I really like it. It also has rounded edges. Much more comfortable than the standard release.

I think you would probably go to jail if you are caught. Including the NFA violation, the TFFA does not change TCA 39-17-1302. Suppressors are still illegal, unless you fall under one of the exceptions. There is no exception for a "made in TN" suppressor, SBR, SBS, or MG. I fail to see why everyone is getting excited over this TFFA. It is nothing more than a "feel good" act. Other than the warm and fuzzy feeling, it really means nothing.
