  1. You're right. Anyways, the news article in the OP is 5 years old.
  2. Worn bluing gives a gun character. I have a SIG P229 with some great holster wear that I will never refinish. That Baer Thunder Ranch is nice!!
  3. Same here. I love Wolf and Brown Bear. Cheap fun!
  4. No. A person may only sell F2F to a resident of their state. Any sale to a person residing in another state must go through a FFL.
  5. I'll take the Wolf, if you no longer want it. All of my ARs eat it like candy.
  6. +1 Homicide: Life on the Street
  7. I have always been treated well at G&A.
  8. Holy paranoid delusion, Batman! Rapaki needs to go on some medication. Translation: I made this crap up, just to create a hornet's nest on the internet.....
  9. I have a box of Cor-Bon .40 S&W that is labeled as +P (on the shell casings, as well). I bought the box around 1993/1994. Seems like I heard that they are still standard pressure .40's. I don't know why they were labeled that way.
  10. Welcome!
  11. Good riddance! He was nothing but a troll. See ya!
  12. I have both a P228 and P229 (.40 cal), and have carried them both extensively. Both are excellent pistols, and have served me well. Personally, I favor the 228. The balance and weight of the 228 is much better than the heavier 229. I don't like the recent reissue of the 228 because of the rail, the 228 is a much better looking pistol without it. I personally believe that the P228 is one of the finest combat handguns out there, and probably the best pistol ever produced by SIG Sauer.
  13. Nope, I'm another one. I have had very good luck with ATT.
  14. I could be frozen up a bit. Point the rifle straight up, and give the buttstock a good tap on the floor while pulling back on the slide handle. See if that breaks it loose.
  15. That's great! I hope they do it.
  16. Federal law allows you to ship to a TN resident. UPS policy allows you to ship to a TN resident. However, everything I have read (from other people's experiences) is that UPS will not accept a firearm for shipment, unless it is going to a FFL.
  17. I carry my Glock 19 pretty much all year. Occasionally carrying my LCP when I don't feel like strapping on the Glock.

    How to FTF?

Almost. You also need to make sure the person is a TN resident. You cannot do a FTF transaction with a resident of another state.
  19. It doesn't sound real, but it's damn funny.
  20. I get long page load times (sometimes up to minute), and quite a few timeout/server not found error messages. Happens frequently (not all the time) on a daily basis. This is usually the only website with which I have this many problems.
  21. The sign applies if you are bringing in a firearm that you will have out (such as trying out a holster, having them look at for a trade, bringing it in for repair, etc...). They have no problem with you having your loaded carry gun in the store, as long as it remains holstered.
  22. I am not sure if there is law specifically for that question, but this is straight from the ATF website: ATF Online - Firearms - Frequently Asked Questions - National Firearms Act (NFA) - Firearms I noticed that they do not provide a relevant USC or CFR cite to support this answer like they do for most of the other answers. However, I would take ATF's "suggestion" to heart, and carry a photocopy with you whenever you have the weapon. As others have said, it will makes things less complicated.
  23. Ah, I wasn't aware of the second Judiciary Oath. I was speaking of what Constitution said. It would be interesting to see what would happen, in regards to the oath, if an Atheist was ever appointed to SCOTUS. Wording of the oath aside, an Atheist judge (as long as they do their job properly) would not be any better or worse than anyone else.
  24. Yes, I agree with you. Some judges let their personal views (religious, or otherwise) influence their decisions. That is what makes them bad judges. A good judge will base their decision on the words and intent of the law, and not allow personal views to influence them. Most judges do a very good job, but there are far too many activist judges out there.
