  1. It is not put on there by the CC company. We are all writing it in ourselves in the signature block on the back of the card, or somewhere on the back of the card.
  2. I have "ask for ID" on the back of all my CC/Debit cards, and have only been asked once to show my ID. I thanked the guy for it. Once, I paid for a meal at Zaxby's (mmmmm....Zaxby's), the girl behind the counter took my card, looked at the "ask for ID" written in the signature block, stared at it for a few seconds with a confused look on her face, then handed it back to me without asking for ID. I still get a good laugh out of that. I probably would have told the server to go pound sand if he asked for ID for cash. Either take it or don't. If they refuse my cash payment, and I have no other way to pay, then I would tell him that I assume my meal was free.
  3. Impingement. DI is a proven design, costs less, weighs less, and has fewer moving parts to break. Piston ARs are overrated IMHO. Keep a DI gun well lubed (as any firearm should be) and it will run even if it is completely filthy.
  4. Nice! I am in the process of putting together one with OD Magpul furniture.
  5. Click on "Premium Memberships" at the top of the page. Then, under the "Active Subscriptions" section, you will see your start and expiration date of your Benefactor status (on the far right).
  6. I also bought a couple pairs of Diamond Gusset jeans due to the recommendations in the prior thread. They fit great, and are very comfortable. No more Levi's for me!
  7. Yep, got to love those little springs and detents!
  8. If you are looking for a good rail system that won't break the bank, Midwest Industries and Daniel Defense make drop-in rail systems that replace the plastic handguards, and require no modification to your rifle. They both lock up tight, and are a great value for the money ($130 to $150 range). Yeah, you don't save a lot by doing your own build, it's more about the satisfaction of putting it together yourself.
  9. Looks good! Yeah, I hate DPMS handguards. They look odd. You will like the Magpul MOE handguards; I have them on one of my ARs, and I really like them.
  10. The story is form World Nut Daily, so I doubt there is any truth to it at all.
  11. Yeah, FOX went off (for a bit) here in Nashville, as well. And, yes, Megyn Kelly is totally hot!!
  12. I have one of their ARs (M4 flattop). It has been a great rifle. Superb fit and finish, and flawless operation. I highly recommend them.
  13. This. I get a good laugh when someone references a WorldNutDaily article.
  14. Congrats on the new job!
  15. Wow. Sounds like Domino's made the right decision.
  16. I'm a Magpul fan. I think their products are very innovative. I like the BAD lever, and have it installed on two of my ARs. I love the fact that I can (now) lock back the BCG without losing my firing grip. I always hated that about the AR design, and the BAD lever solves the problem. I know many other shooters that have had the same wish, so it is definitely a great solution to the problem. My trigger finger never goes inside the trigger guard while using it, so I feel completely safe using it. I love the MOE grip, and it is an addition to all of my ARs. I prefer it's shape and grip texture over the MIAD grip. The MOE stock is nice, but I prefer the CTR stock due to the fact that it has a QD sling attachment point. The ACS stock was a bit of a disappointment: I run Crane SOPMOD stocks on my ARs, and was pleased that the ACS stock had the same profile, but I hate the fact that it has no QD sling attachment. I don't know why they did not put one on there. It is still a nice stock, though. The UBR stock is nice, but quite heavy. I have never used the ASAP sling attachment, but the metal on metal seems like it would make too much noise. All in all, I think Magpul makes great products.
  17. Not true. An individual may ship a handgun to a dealer. From the ATF website:
  18. What he said. LMT is top-notch. I have one myself, and it is my favorite rifle.
  19. Early voted last week.
  20. I used to watch Airwolf all the time. I loved that show! I'll have to check some episodes out on Hulu. Now, if I could just find a way to see some Six Million Dollar Man episodes, I would be set.
  21. You're about a year too late with that post.
  22. Mmmmmmm.......Penicillin. The wonder drug!
  23. Nice! I love the MOE handguards, I have them on one of my ARs.
  24. Man, sorry to hear this. Here's to a speedy recovery.
