Nah, they're zombies too, just zombies in the spotlight.

Jack began to assess the situation and looked at Brigsby, "Mike, we should put him in a cell where he can lay on a cot, plus he's in the way here." Brisgby nodded in agreement, then looking at the injured man, "Disculpe señor, puede moverse bajo su propio poder?(Excuse me sir, can you move under your own power?)" The tired and wounded man wearily responded, "Si..." Jack was stunned at how fluent Brigsby was, "Just how long was your stint in Panama?" Brigsby chuckled as they lifted the man up, "I was there for the duration of the operation but then was transferred to an embassy there, apparently having a doctor who could fight was a sought after thing down there." The two men laid the wounded man down on a cell cot; even for being as tan as he was, the injured hispanic was experiencing extreme pain and was developing a fever. "Looks like the bite wound is causing an infection." Jack stared hard at the man for almost a solid minute before saying, "Mike, we need to open those bandages." Mike was now curious, "Jack, we JUST got him patched up, why would we do that?" Jack had a very stern and serious look on his face, "I have a feeling that this is just like the movies and games to an extent." Brigsby had a unimpressed look on his face, "We're REALLY going to base this 'hunch' off of Hollywood?" Jack a little irritated at the comment, "If you have a better idea let's hear it." Brigsby shrugged with nothing better to say, they entered the cell and peeled back the bandage. The wound was already producing pus from the sewed up area and the surrounding skin was extremely red and hot to the touch. Brigsby was shocked, "This wound shouldn't even be producing pus yet!" Jack closed the bandage back up, the man grabbed Jacks hand, "Está todo bien?" Jack had a puzzled look on his face and Brigsby chimmed in, " He asked 'Is everything okay?'." Jack made his hand into an OK hand sign while giving a hollow smile, "You're going to be alright" Jack looked gravely at Brigsby. The men walked out of the cell, Jack leaned towards Brigsby whispering in his ear, "Lock the cell, I'm fairly certain now that this thing is viral." Brigsby let out a sullen grunt in agreement and nodded. He locked the cell to the feverish man. Brigsby thought, 'Never thought I'd see the day when I lock up someone who hadn't done anything wrong and was innocent...'

"Law Enforcement Today" Advises Police not to Kill Family Dogs

Yeah, we tend to frown upon people shooting our dogs in the face, kind of a deal breaker with us... -

Good informative post, I was with you on the AR business. When I went to New Orleans last Sunday I OCed with a shirt pulled over it for the most part. I had my AR and 870 in the hotel room broken down, hidden, and bagged with my luggage. Figured a window can be broken on my truck but my room was secured and a do not disturb sign was hung outside to insure that none of the maids would come in.

1911 9MM Mags/1911 38 Super Mags--Interchangeable?
whitewolf001 replied to hipower's topic in General Chat
That's the great thing about 1911 mags, they can be used on just about anything. When I had my Springfield Omega I used .45ACP mags and mine was a 10mm. Try it out, the worst that can happen are some FTF's. -
What's the problem if you cut and filed it to spec? All gunsmithing is machining and as long as you comprehend basic math and have a micrometer it's easy. Why spend $160-200 on 4 mags when that could be spent on ammo. I'm normally a gear whore but some of us can't afford all the niche stuff to go along with the platform, just the platform itself, lol. That's why I have a BCM upper with no lower, haha.

As I said, that's TOTALLY how I'd use it.

I think you meant iPorn.

Water Snakes are really hard to tell apart from a Cotton Mouth but those aren't indeginous to middle or east TN, just west. http://ufwildlife.ifas.ufl.edu/water_moccasin_watersnake_comparison.shtml

I just stumbled upon this as I was going to ask the same EXACT question, lol.

I've never hunted so forgive my ignorance but why wouldn't one always go for head shots anyways?

I could care less about weapons, I just wanna be able to shoot what I have once again without feeling like I got financially raped. .223 for what .308 used to go for leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

"Law Enforcement Today" Advises Police not to Kill Family Dogs
whitewolf001 replied to a topic in General Chat
It was on I40, my work is actually like a mile from where it happened. It was a Cookeville PD officer that shot the dog. -
Jack had just realized that if these people hadn't been as he put it, 'alive', there would've been no way he could've gotten to his gear in his truck. So he took a premptive move to alocate his equipment inside and do an inventory of everything he had and possibly be ready to ditch any non-priority equipment. Jack slung the weapon to a ready position and as he was shouldering his C.H.I.E.F. pack, he saw someone out of the corner of his eye. When he saw them his body reacted on instinct and jumped back several steps. He felt an icy feeling bewing in the pit of his stomach. Sweat began to form around his forehead; he thumbed off the drop leg holsters retention break keeping his hand on the weapon. The silhouette came into the light of the stations front lot. It was a man limpin with his hand outstretched, "Por favor, ayúdame..." the man was of Hispanic descent, "Please, señor, help me.". The man was covered in what appeard to be his own blood, while the other hand that wasn't outstretched towards Jack was clasping a wound on his shoulder. Jack came to, "BRIGSBY!!!!!" he yelled, "I need your help!" Brigsby came out of the station moving as fast as his older body would let him. The two men threw the mans arms around him, forcibly dragging him upright into the station. Before they even entered the building Brigsby was yelling, "Shirley, grab a trauma kit, hurry!" They dragged the man inside into the main office area and laid him down on the floor. Shirley came running up with a first aid kit, "This was all I could find." Brigsby saw it ripped it open and began applying gauze to the wound, "Shirley, go to the secondary supply closet, there's a trauma kit there in a red EMT pack, HURRY!" She ran off as fast as she could. Brigsby then grabbed Jacks hands, "Hold the pressure here son!" Jack without responding did as he was told and at that time Shirley came back up to them, "Here, I found it!" Brigsby then looked at her, "Now bring me a clean pitcher or bottle of water and some soap, I'm going to sterilize this wound." After several minutes of pressure held and Shirley returning, Brigsby was able to clean and sterilize the wound not to mention sew it up. Jack was shocked at the actions Brigsby was able to take and such short time, "I've taken some medical courses Mike but that was an insane job and in such little time." Brigsby smiled, "I used to be a Corpsman in the Marines, I saw just a little action in Panama during Just Cause."

I've got about a 5% viewing compared to the number of members, I like those odds considering there are roughly 18k members.

I still don't understand why they put a picatinny right there behind the trigger, I mean, think about the angle that would put the grip, seems like a horrid idea.

This does look like it'd be perfect for a bugout. I likes it, I didn't see any prices though. You noticed that too huh?
