  1. I think the Mini-30 would be a hot seller had Ruger had the brains to make it compatible with AK mags rather than use their, as usual, proprietary mags.
  2. I too am in search of some but as far as I'm aware of the only mags I'm aware of that are still sold(and pretty sure they're poly) are Bulgarian Waffle ((10)) in black and clear at about $45ea. I just ordered one of these instead of ordering more mags. http://www.canisdesigngroup.com/m4-magazine-adapter-for-ak.html
  3. Do believe I'll bring some bang sticks with me next time I'm over there...
  4. Do they allow rifles on the range? The ONLY indoor range within 45 minutes of here will NOT allow rifles except .22LR.
  5. Dude, does he have pics up of this yet?? I had no idea he was working on something like this!!!
  6. You sir made a pun and didn't even know it. :D
  7. True, I used to use .45 mags at the range in my Springfield Omega.
  8. I've put my hands on one, I'd rather have a WASR10. Fit was okay but the finish looked like black spray paint. It was bad. Couldn't attest to it's functionality as I only played with it in a store.
  9. I like the concept of the 20, I just hate the MASSIVE grip it has.
  10. P227 in 10mm BUT I might consider one of these as well.
  11. Technically, so does Century... :D I give them guff but they have tightened down on their QC in recent years.
  12. Unless they're select fire weapons, pretty sure they'll only be sporting rifles. Haven't been new assault rifles to the public since 1986 amigo BUT I understand your message.
  13. FTFY ;)
  14. As will I, WAY too rich for my blood. That being said, it's still pretty awesome that this kind of weight is possible. I'd opt to make it a smidge heavier but more interface friendly such as a tad bit of Pic rail at the back for a BUIS and sub that handguard for the BCM KMR, shouldn't increase weight by a whole lot but would increase it's user capacity though. Just my  :2cents:
  15. Customize em from the get go. A formula that has worked for BCM for forever.
  16. 3.9lb AR BUT at a steep price. Still kinda cool knowing that it can weigh that little. http://www.battlearmsdevelopment.com/oip-rifle
  17. New ruling; equipping a pistol with an optic makes it FAR too effective, thus all pistols can no longer use optics AND using the iron sights in conjunction with pulling the trigger for more than two consecutive shots in less than 2 seconds redesigns it as a full auto...
  18. You can't see what a weapon is truly capable of till it's pushed to it's very absolute limits. I didn't even know you COULD set the handguards on fire. Well the polymer ones anyways but like the guy said, the likelihood of one pushing a weapon like this in real world is very slim. I still enjoy see this kind of data though.
  19. Just found this satire article released in response to the ruling... You WILL giggle.   http://tacticalshit.com/another-atf-ruling-pulling-trigger-repeatedly-now-illegal/   Today, just days before Shot Show 2015 the ATF has once again decided to implement game changing and sweeping rulings.  In response to thousands of requests at the ATF Technology Branch they have released this statement: The ATF likes to change their mind. So today we have done it again and this time we mean it.  Many have asked whether pulling the trigger on a firearm more than once in sequential order is illegal. It in fact is. Using Merriam’s Dictionary we look at the word “Design”. By pulling the trigger more than once in sequential order with a split time of less than 2 seconds, you in fact have “re-designed” the weapon and it would be considered “Fully Automatic” or a “Machine Gun” by definition which would result in an obvious NFA Law Violation. The fact that your finger itself is a “mechanical” addition to the weapon confirms this.  You would also be guilty of Manufacturing since you added your finger to the trigger and of course Excise Tax Evasion the moment you hand this newly redesigned and re-manufactured firearm to your friend. This is obviously a game changer.  The bolt action market is going to explode.
  20. What's the capacity on those mags?
  21. Okay Mr. Swagger... ;)
