  1. I've been at a table a few times in the past with a bud of mine. Probably met or brushed by in passing, lol. We usually have old or current military stylized weapons ranging from(in the past) AK-74's to FN49's, lol.
  2. Welcome from the hills cousin. To answer your question... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/forum/29-gunsmithing-troubleshooting/
  3.   Dunno about that, probably be a little dead.
  4. If the weapon came a Davidsons Dist. they generally have a lifetime warranty regardless of the Manuf. warranty.
  5. I need one for my Lonely ST15 upper sitting at home, sold my Spikes lower a while back to a fella whom needed one on GOC so now back in the market to replace my old one. Not to mention this one will be fregin sweet, lol. I'm gonna use a PSA lpk we've got at the shop.
  6. Funny things is it's cheaper to buy new cartridges for my .300 Win Mag than it is to reload, that is unless I reload some crazy balls out hunting round, lol. Twenty pcs of Norma brass cost 29.99, I can pick up Hornady White Tail 150gr SP for the same price, lolz.
  7.   Just out of curiosity, are those front line units such as firebases or more on the FOB used by MP's? My thirst for knowledge demands to know! lol
  8.   Yeah I knew that the Army still used them, they're just not as common as the M4 or A4. A bud of mine was a combat MP and he preferred the M16 over the M4 any day of the week. Probably just varies unit to unit I suppose. I thought that might be the case but wasn't sure, sometimes hard to figure out what people are talking about on ze interwebs, lol.
  9. Also. you'll notice the end of the last excerpt has been modified, heh heh.
  10. Didn't they do this already? I thought it was the Talking Dead, and then after that they had a Q&A talk show that would talk about said episode but then, I repeat myself...
  11.   When you refered to the "cheap plastics", were you not talking about the Eugene Stoner line or were you talking about the KelTec SU/PLR? The way  you worded it made it seem as though you were talking about the former... If you were, the M16/M4 line has been continually evolving, not sure when you served BUT they have changed tremendously just in the last 10 years. They haven't used the plastic forearm since the A2 model which was COMPLETELY phased out(except basic) in USMC in 2004, the M16A4 took over that role and in the Army, the M4 weapon line is pretty much the front runner infantry weapon which these all use alum. KAC RAS.
  12. Are you thinking of the RFB?
  13. Gunbroker has an ad for the ammo, 250 rounds for .60 per, not too shabby I think.
  14. Okay, so a vehicle that fits this category is sitting in our shop here at work. According to interweb folklore it is a VERY rare find, an 83 Toyota landcruiser(FJ40) right hand drive(Jspec) with a 3B 4cyl Diesel. It looks like it was just brought over here from a Safari in Africa, lol. I'll try to snag a pic of it tomorrow before it leaves.
  15. Yep, you get the Five-seveN without the idiotic price tag.
  16. My buddy who owns a gun shop was just telling me about the RIA 1911 coming out... I HAVE  to have one. It's a combo deal, a double stack 1911 with a 9mm barrel and another barrel chambered for a new cartridge, .22TCM. It makes the 5.7 have bad dreams and wet itself, lol. It's a cutdown .223 and shares the same 9mm mags. It'll do about 1875 FPS and has roughly 300 ft-lbs. It is a cartridge developed in conjunction between RIA and Fred Craig. Not much intel on it besides that, and relatively hard to get the ammo because it's so new but all I know is I want it... lol. Besides, I have plenty of 9mm to justify it, heh heh.
  17.   I'll take "@#$% Yes" for 500 Alex.
  18.   Basic metalurgy, metal cannot do harm to another metal of a much greater hardness, i.e. Steel vs Alum, Steel wins, especially steel from a barrel, that stuff is generally Cryogenically hardened at least on most high end AR's and LWRC is a high end. If you don't feel safe with it I'd be happy to buy it off you, you know, at reduced price, it IS damaged and all now.
  19.   You mean you can use Tampons for this sort of thing?
  20. Welcome cousin. :woohoo:
  21. I think you might be on the wrong TGO homeskillet... LOLZ, I kid. Welcome from the hills cousin, glad to have ya. ;)
  22. And now I have a reason to stop by the liquor store on the way home...
  23. Indeed! I tried this at a place that serves it called the Ale House here, I got it just because it was a Smauel Smiths and by god it did NOT dissapoint. Have you ever had a Wells Banana Nut Bread? It's fregin AWESOME!!!
