  1. Excellent handling of the situation Spots, I'd have liked that fool to try that like when we gather for the 'meet n greet'. Can you say, "New Archery Target"? ;)
  2. Why does Santa hate me?
  3. I think Vortex makes a magnifier for both the SF and Sparc.    EDIT:Yes, yes they do make one. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=XVOVMX3T&name=Vortex+VMX-3T+3X+Magnifier&groupid=84
  4. That or a Go-Pro, those things can then be used for purposes then.
  5. It was like you were reading my mind....
  6. :stunned:  :stunned:  :stunned:  :stunned:
  7. I don't see how, their saw dust gravy is good for about one thing, greasing axle bearings. Now Hardee's has some fregin good gravy!
  8. You do know that's a factory/repro stock right? A G3 stock wouldn't mate up to an FAL, not without a LOT of bench work.
  9. Those were the good ol days, last time I got a deal like that was for 1000 rounds of SS109 Lake City for $235 at Knob Creek about 2-3 years ago.
  10. These are what Hershmeister is talking about. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=MAK74R30PLUM&name=Russian+AK74+30rd+Rifle+Magazine+5.45x39cal+Plum&groupid=15
  11. THIS^^^ When I had my two 74's I had about 12 Russian Plums I got when they were on sale at AIM for $19.99.
  12. Treat those like a sore wienie, don't touch em, lol. Anything BUT Promags should work okay at the range but for something like a JIC or SHTF kit, go with mil-surplus ONLY. The way I see it, if I NEED to depend on a weapon system with my life, I need to know it WILL work. This is just my opinion mind you, take it as you will. If you get bakelite or polymer mags that are foreign, check to make sure they have steel feedlips. The Polish ones that AIM has aren't steel reinforced but would make AWESOME range mags, I just wouldn't throw them in my go pack or do serious training with them.
  13. Ah, a custom build. It was probably built off a Bulgarian kit. Here are some indicators on the country of origin; on the left side of the front trunnion should be a 10 or 21 inside a circle, that's a Bulgarian marking. A Romanian will have a Triangle with a pointing arrow inside it, Russian will have a arrow with fletching inside either a star or triangle, and Chinese will, well they're kinda obvious with the Calligraphy writing. There's all sorts of em and this will provide more data. http://www.ak-47.net/markingsindex.php
  14. You should read the comments under the link you provided. It's no wonder our country is such garbage with people spouting such venom religiously. And this fella REALLY doesn't understand the words "low-profile" does he? If I were in his shoes I'd have vanished into the mid-west.
  15.   Whiskey Tango Foxtrot are you talking about???
  16. Who's the manufacturer?
  17. I got out of woods-ball a long time ago, though I haven't played speed-ball in about 3 years. Gonna try to sell most of my equipment here soon as I don't play anymore.
  18. I see, judging from the meat they took off the back of the BCG, it shouldn't drag even if tilt occurs. I'm always interested in seeing how companies solve the issue of carrier tilt.
  19. They were in stock when he posted this earlier.
  20. Yeah, it's a striker plate for the short stroke gas piston set-up so there's no more gas key.     Can you get a close up of the BCG? I'm curious as to how they solved the issue of carrier tilt on their set up.
  21. I still like to use them for reference. When someone asks me if I still order from them, they get this reaction.
  22. I want combat sights, though these are improved over the old school blade sights I still would rather have either match sights or Night Sights.
