Found these guys from a post off of Facebook. These guys were mentioned in the article and it was just talking about what needed to be done for E-Filing a trust. So from what he said in the article, it only takes about 3-4 weeks for a trust e-file? Any truth to this and has anyone heard of these guys before? $95 for a trust seems too good to be true, which more often than not, it is but I want to believe that it is good to go. http://www.coyoterifleworks.com/nfa-trust/

I have a IFAK on my go vest that contains; 2 tourniquets, 2 packs of combat gauze, medical shears, a large compress, ace bandage, nasal airway set, and an Israeli bandage. I also have a medic go bag that contains two IV bags and numerous other things that one would need to treat about any trauma patient. I need to expand into some medications to have on hand but that is what I have complete so far, well besides vitamins and basic drugs(Advil, Tylenol, etc).

Oh, it'll take a WHILE to clear em out, probably 1st or 2nd quarter of next year.

Not a fan of the weight of the AR500 plates but very good price point. I'm going to fork out the extra money and get some lightweight Dyneema armor by DKX.

Now these .223 prices I remember!

I've read nothing but good things on this stuff, pretty much Taiwanese loaded to 5.56 specs. What little experience I have with it has been favorable, I ran it out of my project Mini-14 when I had it and ran flawlessly but then, that was only about 60 or so rounds and isn't really much to draw hard data from. -
It's the cheapest brass case ammo I've seen in years, since fireArmageddon happened anyways. Under $290 shipped?? Yes please... http://www.slickguns.com/product/223-remington-556x45mm-55-gr-fmj-wolf-gold-ammo-case-1000rds-ammo-can-32844

Getting in shape, round's a shape right?
whitewolf001 replied to whitewolf001's topic in Training Discussions
Progress report gents. Well, going on day 4 and was shocked when I stepped on the scale. I now weigh 320, that's a weight loss of 10lbs in 4 days. I have done nothing for exercise, yet, and have only changed my intake from processed foods and meat 'n' taters to nothing but H2O and juice. This morning's coffee was half a lemon in 16oz of water and breakfast is as follows; 1 orange, 2 granny smith apples, 1 carrot, 1 cucumber, 1/2 lemon, and 1 handful of kale leaves. I made this recipe myself and call it "Tang with a Kick". It's REALLY good and there are several juices that I thoroughly enjoy and there are some, well, not so much. I am currently exactly 100lbs away from my goal. It took almost 3 months of working out to lose this kind of weight so it's really awesome to see this kind of change. Even when I begin to eat normally again, I have no intentions of eating the way I did and will sub out any and all caffeinated/soft/energy drinks with juice. If I feel that I want to drink something besides water, it will be a juice and if I need a pick me up, I'll mix in stuff that will provide me with plenty of vitality. The key to this is dedication, one cannot falter and has to have a mindset as such. I had some mind shattering revelations when I decided to do this so again, it's NOT for everyone. I hope that I can inspire some of my fellow TGO'rs to follow a similar path to better health. It's not easy but then, nothing worth having IS easy. More updates to follow as I go. -
If it had a bull barrel chambered in 6.5 Grendel you might.

I am getting in shape once and for all, I've been on several health kicks of working out and trying to eat right for the last year and a half. I relapsed and got to the point that I was worse off than I possibly could have imagined. I weighed 330lbs and was very unhappy with myself. I was attempting to rekindle a previous relationship I had with my ex, which fell flat on it's face. I then watched a documentary called "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead". It was about an Aussie gent who was a little shorter than me and about 310lbs. He began a journey for weight loss called a juice fast. He lost 90lbs in 60 days. I'm not going to attempt his feat BUT I am going to do my own 10 day juice fast(possibly longer if I don't burn myself out), use that as a catalyst to get back in the gym. Between the failure of a relationship and after watching this inspiring documentary, I decided that a change in my lifestyle NEEDED to happen, not a diet, a change. So, I went out and bought a juicer and have begun my own juice fast. It's very difficult and most assuredly not recommended for the weak of heart. I am on day two of this, and just like everything I've read about this, your body detoxes and cleanses itself of all the crud you've ingested, I've sustained headaches and bouts of weariness that make you wanna curl up and pass out. However, I weighed myself a few minutes ago and I've lost about 3lbs in 2 fregin days!!! I swear this sounds like some infomercial crap, but it's legit. I posted here as I am also doing this so that I can attend Tactical Response's High Risk Contractor course sometime soon, after getting into reasonable conditioning for myself. I can honestly say, that juicing is an awesome meal substitute. It sucks when you're out in town and smell that awesome food, believe me, I could almost make out what kind of food it was by the fragrance. The hunger for normal food is hardest on day one, today wasn't near as bad. Weighed 330 last time I checked myself, which was about 2 months ago, today weighed 327. I'll report back in every day or so to show my findings.

Seems like an awful lot of weight to me, the price isn't a major issue. Now if that was made of a Magnesium Aluminum alloy, I'd probably be interested.

I thought I recognized the CMT logo. I could swear that said grip-pod but wasn't sure. I too have one, it's a new milsurplus variant though that I snagged for $30. No, it's not the chinese variant, it has the steel reinforced legs as well. It's currently on my marksman rifle. :D

Jeb, Tay, and Jack had just finished loading all the equipment they had found into the bed of the Deuce. Jack looked at Tay with a concerned look on his face, "Where's Ju..." knowing what he was going to ask Tay responded, "They're in the command tent relaxing for a sec. Leave em be to have some girl time." The body of the dropped assailant was moved around to the back of the tent where the girls were staying. Jeb climbed up the side of the Deuce to get on the hood to acquire a better vantage point. He looked around in a 360 degrees spin, then locked eyes with the North. He then said, "Hey Jack, c'mere!" Jack walked over to the side of the transport truck, "What's up man?" Jeb without looking at him and with a concerned look on his face while facing the direction where they first came in, said "Lemme see your bi-nocs." Jack, puzzled and a little alarmed by this, reached into his vest pocket to retrieve the optics and proceeded to toss them to Jeb, who almost lost his footing reaching for them but regained his balance. He looked through them in the direction he had been looking and his jaw dropped from what he saw, "Um, time to go!" He tossed the binoculars back to Jack which he pocketed, "What's wrong man??" Jeb without answering ran to the girls in the command tent, "We've gotta go, NOW!" The girls didn't question him, they picked up their things and ran for the truck in a hurry. Tay came from around back of the M35 and asked Jeb, "What's up dude? Your face is so pale." Jack climbed the side of the Deuce and pulled his ranged optics back out, looking through them he saw what had scared Jeb. A massive group of shambling, slowly moving but never stopping people were heading right for them. Jack felt the hair on the back of his neck raise up and his 'fight or flight' instinct kicked in, telling him to do the latter. He threw his glass back into the vest pocket zipping it up. "Go, go, go, go!" Tay climbed up into the cab slamming the door, Sarah climbed into the passenger side of the cab with him while the other three scurried up the back of the M35. Jack used his hands as a ladder for his sister, then for Jeb and in turn, Jeb leaned over the back tailgate and reached for Jack pulling him up into the back of the truck. Julie saw what the others had seen and she began to perspire a cold sweat. The large group they had avoided in front of the florist shop had come back to haunt them for approached an endless sea of gnawing bodies headed directly for their location. Tay started the truck and began to pull away. The truck began to pull away when suddenly the large group exploded into hundreds of flying, burning bodies. Tay stopped the Deuce to turn and see what was happening. Multiple subsequent explosions occurred ripping the bodies apart, incinerating some, and just knocking over others from the concussion. The blasts were close enough that everyone in the truck could feel it in their chest and caused their ears to ring. Roaring away was an A-10 Thunderbolt II accompanied by another jet of the same make. It had deployed its munitions onto the large group. The other A-10 did the same in a second pass, deploying the same munitions onto the remainder of their targets. The screaming jets made one more pass using their 30mm GAU-8 Avenger main-gun to pick off groups of stragglers. The bodies turned into pink vapor when contacted by the 30mm round as the two aircraft's peppered the ground with bursts of fire. This eliminated well over 90% of the horde that was making their way towards them. The planes veered off towards the East, back to their point of origin. Jack and Jeb looked at each other, all either one of them could say was, "Damnnnn..." Tay chimed in, "Man, I haven't seen ordinance dropped like that since I was in the sandbox!" he said with a smile on his face.

SHTF Discussion @ Work for Mid East TN
whitewolf001 replied to runco's topic in Survival and Preparedness
I talked about it at work with some fellows(unfortunately) and they continue to give me a hard time about it which I take with a grain of salt. One of them asked, "what are you prepping for, zombies?" I said, "no, anything that POSSIBLY can happen. Such as a Tornado which is a very real threat here in TN. What would happen if your entire house or partial/most was destroyed by a natural, and rather common, disaster here?" His response was laughable, "I'll fix it myself or wait for Uncle Sam to arrive." I literally laughed at him and told him, "Good luck with that." I'm not normally that mean spirited but he was an arrogant d*ck as it was so I responded in kind. I told them this several years ago before I learned of OpSec(again, unfortunately) and I always hear the comment of, "If anything happens, I'm coming to your place." That's funny, because I probably won't be there to greet you and if I am, you will be 'kindly turned away at the door'. I have a MAG already and I will help anyone that truly needs help and they can stay with my MAG if they have something valuable to contribute. Seems a bit cold but I have prepped unlike these other folks and am not going to risk everyone else involved in my efforts because someone else is hungry, no thanks. Yeah, I learned this the hard way... live and learn amigo. :surrender: Dude, I thought the SAME fregin thing. I've still gotta go back and jot down the recipe, er, I mean... -
Yeah, I was expecting Arsenal prices, not Kreb's, lol.

I use it as a social extension for my other lines of work. Great resource for making announcements to people for free.

Well, they released the MSRP to MAC as of today. MSRP is $1749 and will probably be around the $1600 range. As much as I want a Galil Ace, dunno if I'm willing to shell out that kind of cash to acquire one. If I play with one, I might change my mind but until then probably not.

How's the fitment between the upper and lower? Any rattle or movement or is it pretty solid? Also, is that a grip-pod and if so, what is that sleeve on it?? :p

Remington Arms Recall on Model 700 and Seven with X-Mark Pro
whitewolf001 replied to runco's topic in Long Guns
My turn around was about a month give or take, that was back in the spring when the recall was first announced. I was very pleased with what they did for me on my 700 SPS. I had them inspect my weapon for failure to extract along with my recall. They replaced the magazine spring issue I also had but did not mention AND resolved my extraction issue and completed the recall, all free of charge. Shipping label was sent via email and they sent me a box to ship it back in. I was very happy with my interaction with them. -
Your's is a milled receiver so you can't use one of the bolt on type stock kits. You'll have to modify the receiver to accept the paratrooper stock. I'd look into an ACE stock if you plan on going that far with it.

The only negatives I have against the ARAK-21 is that they had some bugs(which have been worked out since they released the Gen2's) when they first released them, and the weight, the upper alone weighs in at about on average 5.5lbs(the weights vary pending on caliber and barrel length/profile). I've been following the ARAK very closely for the last year and have wanted one for some time, will be purchasing one likely this coming spring(ish). It's 5.56, .300AAC, and they're releasing a 7.62x39 here soon. There are talks of others as well including a 6.8SPC, .22lr conversion, and a .308 variant for the larger AR-10 platform. It's a bit expensive but let's be honest, comparing this to a Adams Arms is unfair. These are very much two very different beasts. Comparing this to another gun that would be fair would be the Bushmaster ACR, RRA LAR-PDS, Robinson Arms XCR, or FNH SCAR 16S. The aforementioned platforms all use AR ergonomics but use a different operating system that steers away from traditional AR platforms and even piston AR platforms. So by price comparison's sake, this stacked next to one of the previously mentioned weapons is VERY much affordable. Am I saying that it is the end all be all? No, merely stating that if you're going to compare it to another weapon, make sure it's a similar species.
