I have had some of the bucks seem to go nocturnal already? I've had 66 pics over the last few nights from 3-6 am. Not sure what's messing with them...not looking good. Either way, all they gotta do is mess up and walk down the wrong trail at the right time and I will be waiting on them!

Amazon texts me with the tracking number and info. Not sure how, but I must have signed up sometime. That's the only legit tracking text I've ever seen. I work in cellular industry and we deal with scams all the time. Doesn't smell right to me...

He also has ammo on occasion for it also. Good call out. Lebanon Gun Shop also has one I believe. As of last week that is . edit: another member here let me know Outpost had a pile also

Bike Trip - 2000 miles in less than 48 hours
Wiljo05 replied to Good_Steward's topic in General Chat
^ = misery lol! I was good for about 3 hrs max on my CBR! -
I had the opportunity to originally buy one at $499 new. I thought it was just a souped up 22 mag. Mainly because the guy at the LGS didn't know much about it to sell it to me. The. I got to doing some research and I realized I HAD to have it. Then they were like unicorns. No where to be found, or if you did find it you had to be drunk or rich to buy it! Waited 4 months and finally bought it on gunbroker. D&T handled the transfer. Now 2k or so rounds later I'm still in love with it. Plus I can throw in the 9mm barrel and spring and go shoot steel! Anyone interested I'd give it a 100% will buy again! And I will be NEEDING the commander length one soon also!

Shooter is a good one. Costs 9.99 though. Also if you have a Nikon bdc for a specific cartridge the Nikon Spot On app is sweet.

Lol, also try a triple reed turkey call. Makes a great wounded dog yelp! Don't tell anyone I told you that though lol. And avoid practicing in the truck, it's loud as hell and you'll be saying "what" all day. Don't ask me how I know

One of the better calls I've bought is from bass pro. It's called the lil skyote and fox pro makes it. $15 or so bucks gets it. Little blue open reed call. Takes a little to get it down, but when your sound like and small animal being murdered your dialed in lol. Edit: open reeds are harder to master, but give you all the control in the world on diff sounds!

Come February - March (mating season) is a good time to find out. Smyrna isn't far, and I always welcome people to come coyote hunt with me and likewise I don't mind helping others. I usually run the mouth call and let the other guy shoot, as here they usually are on top of you before you realize it! Another TGO member has come to my farm, although we haven't got one yet ( 2 hunts) my other buddy about 200 yards away had one come in at 60 or so yards last time. Tight spot and couldn't get a shot, but nonetheless one of the 3 of us had some action. If interested let me know!

That's no prank, that's a dream come true lol

Up until last year I'd let a coyote walk in fear of shooting it (bow season that is) and it spooking all the deer. I was in Illinois on a hunt and they asked that we kill as many coyotes as possible (had several places to hunt) so opening day of bow up there I had a dog at 10 yards. Drew back and whack - stuck him between the front shoulders. Sweet I thought until I realized I hit a little far forward, and he sat there spinning in circles letting out the worst possible screaming you could imagine! Finally got a second (kill) shot off after 5 min or so. Felt like a half hour! Thought damn, there goes all the deer in a half mile of me! Sat for another 5 min and the biggest buck I've taken with a bow walked up, stayed about 3 steps away from the coyote, looked at it, stomped the ground, then got center punched with my arrow! Long in the short, I will never hesitate to shoot a coyote now, bow season or rifle!

Oh and y'all jinxed me. Chiggers are a mother!!! They struck hard and fast today!

Jumped a group of coyotes while checking the trail cam this afternoon. Even though I like to think they are more scared of me than I of them, it's spooky when they run all around you in waist high brush!

Welcome to the sickness

No that is the part that sucks. I've bought 7 diff grips for double stack and have yet to find a pair that fit and finish is good. What sucks more is that VZ Grips won't sell me the grips! They said they only sell those grips to Armscor...
-
I had a typo in my reply, I was stating that if anyone is looking at buying one, I'd be glad to let them shoot mine before they drop the cash. The only thing I would do different is buy the VZ model. It has real grips on it vs the garbage stock ones. That and ill buy a commander length as soon as they come back to earth

Don't worry about the weight! The deer will just fall over dead thinking about that beast going boom!

The only issue you will run into with the 40 gr 223 bullets is OAL. The tcm bullets are readily available on the web and they are shorter and more rounded. You can get Lee dies on gunbroker and a handful of other sights. Reloading is a little finicky at first but once you get it dialed in you arr golden. Plus if you have a black out you can get tons of use from 223 brass. Shoot it till neck is weak, cut it down to 300blk then when thats done mame it a tcm piece! Sent from my C811 4G using Tapatalk 2

I have the exact setup white wolf if talking about. And it's ridiculous!!! It's my favorite gun to shoot. As for the range part, last time I went and shot indoors, the shop manager ran back and was flipping out! He thought I had a rifle cause the thing sounds like a cannon going off! Also, if anyone wants to shoot it before buying, I love to see people's expression when it kicks like a 22 mag and sounds like an AR pistol!

5.56/.223 Case Prep and Handload Question(s)
Wiljo05 replied to Jamie Jackson's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I own one of the WFT from little crow, it has been the best investment I've gone for when it comes to .223. I have the lee, and its great for small amounts, but got to a point that I hated trimming brass. The WFT from crow is sweet! Super fast, was easy to adjust, and is dead nuts on every time. My trimming volume has increase more and I don't mind doing it now. If we were closer I'd let you give it a run and compare both it and the lee. -
Been getting some good trail cam pics finally. Have my sights set on a cull buck and have one decent 9 pt. also had tons of coyote pics finally. They had dissappeared until recently now I seem to have more dogs than deer! This will be resolved ASAP though! Nothing like practice with the bow from the stand!

It isn't near as critical on the apple platform simply due to the heavy policing that apple does of the App Store. I know that most malicious apps are recovered within 24 hrs. Mainly checking the reviews, makes it a fairly safe environment. I still shy away from all password keeper type apps though...

Good work tanker! I can elaborate a little more on permissions. And the security app is a good idea, but it can be read into a little more than necessary. But in the case of the Facebook app I agree. For example, an app that gives you free wallpapers realistically needs access to these portions of your device: internet(to download), storage(to save it), contacts ( to in app assign it to a contact), camera (allowing you to upload a new photo), as well as few others... When it gets sketchy is when you download a calculator app and it requests all the permissions (shotgun blast as you called it) since we know there is not a lot of interface a simple calculator app should have with the main root of the device. I work in the wireless industry as a Data Consultant, so if anyone has more in depth questions I'm more than willing to help, just let me know. Edit: permissiondog, as well as others are great for identifying what is being requested as far as permissions go, but I'm usually hesitant on using them as they can have a tendency to drain resources of the device (battery, processor, ect) And yes TuneIn is the cats a$$! Since Bob and Tom lost Nashville I can still listen every day. I will try to come up with a list of some top apps that might be relevant to most here, or just in general and post it up. Then we all can add to it as we have our own favorites.

Like all have said, they are a good bunch there, and I agree that this is a specialty round, but for a 50 yard or less advertised accuracy round it still seems steep. The "retail" price is about $5 lower than Midway. They did just send another flyer for slide fire stocks @299. Just a quick search showed others at 369...so maybe a deal on those?
