1. They also have a great Glock Armorer there. He came in on his day off to do some trouble shooting and help me out. I had only met him once before for a few minutes so he had no personal reason to come in other than to take care of a customer and help grow their business. Was very pleased with their level of service. Shot there a few times just to give some local business, range is nice, but a bit warm in the heat of summer if you aren't directly in front of an ac vent.
2. You won't regret coming and shooting! Great stages, great guys, and nothing like hearing (or not hearing) the steel ring
3. Last chance for me to get some decent trigger time in before the Music City Cup, so I'll see y'all Sunday!
4. We have a winner. Not so much as the pin breaking, but it climbed during a firing sequence, allowing the firing pin mech to shred when I went back into battery. Taurus is sending the entire assembly to me on their dime and they had great customer service. Only problem I've ever had with this weapon. Shoot me a pm Surfabily and we'll coordinate your winnings.
5. I'll be there as well. Had a malfunction sunday that I hope to have worked out getting ready for the Music City Cup.
6. Less than 3 weeks away! Looking forward to some fun and challenging stages!
7. I don't know the name of the guy's shop, but my brother has had several deer mounts from him. I believe the road name is Odom's Bend just off 109 in Gallatin. Soon as you cross the new bridge turn right then his shop is about a mike down on the left. The mounts I've seen looked great
8. Narrowing it down by giving more detail. It was a BUG match.
9. Preface: was shooting an IDPA match today, and last shot of stage one I had a failure to go into battery. After that pull the trigger, click;nothing. Tap, rack, click, nothing... So the guessing game: What gun, and aside from the obvious problem in the pic, what happened? Prize is a new Pmag for 5.56, shipped to you or F2F in middle TN. I've torn it apart and figured it out, thought I'd toss a challenge out and see if anyone (besides AC3BOYZ, as he knows) can guess what happened. Side note:700+ rnds thru the gun and not a single issue till today...
10. I use a home made press of 3/4 mdf, 4 bar or c-clamps, and 2" neoprene foam from ebay. Toaster oven the kydex at 350 till soft then toss it in the press and clamp around object for 10 min. Then strait to the fridge to set. The beautiful thing about kydex is if you screw up, toss it back in the heat and go again.

13. Just got a chance to hold this blade. The balance and feel is second to none! Outstanding work! Just helped 10Kilr make a sheath for it. And I have to say I want one now! Pm inbound shortly.
14.
Has anyone used one while on a Coyote stand? If any animal on the planet can smell it...ole Wiley will be the one!
I use one religiously up until the first hard frost. Killed several coyotes with one sitting at my feet. It seems that if they (Eastern coyotes that is) are going to respond to the distress call, they have already committed to investigating. At that point they are usually within shotgun range before I can see them. I hunt primarily woods though.

17. The "fake" towers aren't cell sites. They are disrupters. They will bang the actual cell site with enough traffic to wad up the faster, more secure spectrum. This forces your device to drop to a less secure(but still encrypted) spectrum giving more of an opportunity to intercept. But long gone are the days of the analog channels that held a constant stream of data. Today's technology breaks each call/data session into millions of pieces, and simultaneously intertwines others users (that are on the same cell site) calls/data sessions into that stream. It's a lot more complicated and takes some serious funding to grab cellular calls over the air. Having the physical device, then dropping software on it is considerably cheaper and yields reliable data yet is obviously localized and not meant to grab the masses.

19. Thanks to Mechanic_x for putting it on. Always good to have trigger time, and to study/steal ideas and tips from the others! @Musicman, good meeting you today as well. Hopefully we'll see you out again.
20. It's a quick sub 3 hour hop from Memphis to the range :-) This would be an awesome way to test the waters on different disciplines of shooting. Lots of helpful and informative people will be there that will make you feel welcome.
21.
Apparently, he has been arrested 31 times. Only caption I can come up with to describe him is ".........." As I am dumbfounded by his sheer idiocy. Sad part is he had his sister and his niece with him. Terrible role model. BTW, thanks dolomite for putting the photo up. I just now had a chance to check the thread.
He is one of the ring leaders of the fraud issues too FYI. Was picked up in MJ not 3 weeks ago. The hit several stores and usually has 3-5 accomplices with him to go in and buy the phones...guess they chose to take them this time.
22. I support a large number of stores for a wireless provider. The sheer volume of fraud is unbelievable right now. We see on average 2-5 cases of fraud each day! They are getting smarter, but rarely get to complete their transactions now that we have figured out their game. Sad part is it begins with identity theft, and ends with them rarely if ever getting arrested. If they put the amount of their efforts to defraud someone or a company into actual work, they likely would do ok for themselves.
23. Something smells....your thread was about exercising the right to open carry at a demonstration against police brutality. Not whether Officer Wilson was justified. I addressed the brutality part, nothing more. And in a very open non directional way (ie I even included smurfs). There was no mention of Ferguson or anything else. Simply the fact of the matter that if someone is doing or intending to do harm, they made the choice and anyone (you, me, black, white, doesn't matter) has the RIGHT to defend themselves or others. As far as protests, if it was happening outside your home or business, would you want a strong force to stop/contain it, or a meek, timid group to politely ask them to leave. The violence begins and ends with a choice. Those folks can choose to act stupid and loot, riot, shoot, throw stones, bottles ect. Or they can choose to peacefully assemble. They chose wrong. It's funny how your thread took the route I believe you wanted it to go...there are several other threads here on Ferguson, your opinions on whether that was a justified shooting or not might be more on topic there. As this was started as a thread regarding open carry protesting. Bottom line is play stupid games, get stupid results.
24. Person A attacks, endangers, engages, advances harmfully toward person B. Whether person A is a cop, daughter, son, husband, wife, family member, smurf, whatever, and person B defends his/herself and person 1 pays the penalty of death or bodily harm, that is not brutality. Person A made the choice, and has to live or not live with the results.
