  1. Until I started playing with 458’s, I used to laugh at stuck case removal tools. And then...well let’s just say they should be included with a set of dies and anytime you order new brass it should include a hallmark card that says “it’s not you, it’s me”
  2. $1.25 a round for 458 is about the cheapest you can find. Reloading it sucks, and really isn’t much cheaper. More stuck cases than I’ve ever experienced with any other round. Cleaned, lubed, talked nice to, doesn’t seem to matter The only benefit really is tailoring the bullet weight and the ability to control the ballistics of it.
  3. Done. Sign up and confirmation was fast and easy Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
  4. Either will suit you fine. Lots of guys that shoot with us shoot their 19/17 better than the 34...but with CDP you can go all out on magwell, trigger set, ect, so keep that in mind too for upping the weight to mitigate/flatten out the recoil Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  5. Results Posted: https://practiscore.com/results/new/33008 51 shooters! Great night and thanks to everyone for coming out! New shooters did great tonight!

  7. Results Posted: https://practiscore.com/results/new/31111 Wow! 50 registered competitors and 46 total shooters! 4 stages, 46 competitors and last shots were at 9:10pm! Thanks to all that came out and shot with us! You guys and girls are why we do this! We appreciate all the support!
  8. Show up early, help setup stages and ask questions while you are helping setup. This will do two things. 1) get some first hand knowledge of what the stage layout is and be thinking of how you want to shoot it. This is important for new folks because you will have limited time during the match to plan. 2) asking questions during this time and letting them know you are new may help them squad you with folks that are more experienced and helpful. Don't be afraid to ask if you aren't sure. No one likes to DQ anyone, and SO's and shooters are generally more than willing to answer questions. Going out to shoot the first match is the biggest hurdle. Lots of the guys at ORSA are great, and they will make you feel at home. If you have any specific questions, you can always shoot me a message here or via email and I'll answer them the best I can. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

  11. 650 with case feed, I'm close and will be glad to help you set it up. You are welcome to take a spin on mine if you want before buying. 550 with a case feed is also a very good choice. One of our guys has that setup and likes it. Either way a case feeder is a necessity If you ask us. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  12. We love SGS, but due to changes in our personal lives (I.e. me relocating) it's not going to be feasible. Kenneth will remain the MD for Royal Range
  13. After much consideration and discussion, TN Action Pistol has decided to cut back on matches for 2017 and the Sumner Gun & Supply matches will be removed from the schedule going forward. Running matches takes a lot of time and we have decided to cut back to two matches per month so we can spend more time with our families. Thursday night shoots also seem to be more flexible for our shooting community. We would like to extended a BIG thank you to all of the staff at Sumner Gun for their support over the last 18 months. Sumner Gun gave us a home and a start for our matches, and that will never be forgotten. The staff at Sumner Gun are some of the nicest people you will meet, and great supporters of our shooting community.
