  1. Yes they are.... a family at Walmart bought 8- 550 round bricks and right there out loud laughed that they resell it on gunbroker and " roll in the dough"... Meanwhile rightful gun owners who have real jobs and actually pay income tax stood in awe at the counter... sheeeesh
  2. Sorry, I am a dummy. They have 18 or so boxes of .223 for $749 per box of 1,000... I think they missed the timing of the .223 ammo and ripping people off. Rumor is it is once fired recycle ammo.
  3. I tried adding 2 back in January and they just filled one. They supposedly base it off of billing address, last name and shipping address to regulate that. I grabbed 1 box. Thanks for the link. Thanks for helping a gun community out that is going to shoot this stuff rather than flip it.
  4. Well, at the rate that gun makers are threatening to leave libtard states.... I am shocked that not more ammo manufacturers don't sell more to civilians. I do understand thatthey have current contracts, etc. I have a good friend who worked for Federal for 12 years before moving to another company. He said the profit was about the same to a civilian. Because they have to bid for it, rather than just sell it, there is no incentive to stay with the Govt. Now thats been 3 years ago.. but food for thought.
  5. Oh that Walmart is selling before the shelves. I've been told by Walmart employees that their employees are the worst with ammo sales. Walmart needs to start busting some ass for screwing its customers with corrupt employees.
  6. I am going in business of refilling pencil lead and glue back the sawdust...
  7. I am just north of Lewisburg. The Columbia location won't return my calls. I have been wanting to get involved in this for some time now. How can I get involved? Thanks!!
  8. New skeet range down by us and my wife is really interested in learning or at least trying it out. Any ladies recommend a place to start to see if she likes it?
  9. SW is a fantastic place... buy a fair amount from them... I can assure you that they seem to be controlling the "behind the curtain pre buy" than anybody. Ammo is no different than any drug, alcohol, etc on the black market. People are willing to do odd stuff because of greed...
  10. If you just HAVE to have it... was in there today and they had 18,000 rounds of .223 for $749? But hey, there might be a reason it is still there on the floor $$$$$....
  11. That's it... I am with you. I hate it too... go in through the auto service, straight to sporting goods, see empty shelves, walk back out... I am getting tired of this let down..
  12. I saw an interesting thread on another website that was interesting. Guys who are buying this stuff in MASSES and selling it all over the net have made a serious business for themselves... It would indeed be hilarious to see some of these big sellers go to jail for not paying tax on "income"... The largest seller on GB for bulk pack ammo sells about 50 bulk packs a week... WHERE in the heck does he get this stuff? My best friend and I bought a bunch from him. Nice guy from the northwest, but man o man... who only knows. I asked if he was a dealer and he said " I do it out of my garage for side money"... Now, it's not fair for me to say what he buys it for and what he sells it for. That's his business really. It was just an interesting point a guy brought up about guys who have just made a killing during this crisis paying up....
  13. You are months out my friend... not weeks.
  14. Even worse... I ordered a BCG, 1 upper and some misc stuff on 1-10-13. I got nervous and sent an email which I got back pretty quickly. My email was " is everything that I ordered in stock and ready to ship"?   R-Guns- " yes sir it all is here and ready to ship, which will take 4-6 weeks as our website states". Ok... well, here it is damn near April... nothing. I just sent an email today. What they are doing is simple. They take orders, get CC info, then make you wait. The only thing that stops them from being illegal is that they do not charge you for merchandise until they really have it. They don't even come close to having peoples parts in when they click "checkout"... Rguns has pretty good stuff for the price, but they are such a scam fraud. I have waited too long to be giving up my spot in line now. Very unethical business practice here.
  15. Here's what I want to know... all of these folks on Craigslist, GunBroker, etc are selling 10-20-30 boxes of the impossible to find bulk pack .22lr's. You can't tell me they just get lucky by getting to Walmart in time. There is some serious behind the scenes brother dealing going on. It's sad, but it's reality. How are the same people on these sites able to get, keep, and sell more 550 Bulk pack that a WHOLE entire region of Walmart gets in a damn month!! Riddle me that one!!
  16. Yeah this is crazy crap.... If the right guy gets in office in 3.5 years... who knows... maybe BILLIONS of unfired rounds will be surpluses.
  17. Caught the Franklin store trying to hoard 3 ammo cans of 5.56... me and 2 other guys spied it, called them on why they had it covered up... some guy that does not work in the department sold it !! Muttered " Jimmy is not going to be happy, he was saving that".... Between 3 of us, 3 people scored...
  18. Been meaning to join up for a while now.... nice site.
