    Opinion on a taurus

I have a pt111 and a raging bull revolver. I love them both and have never had any problems out of either one of them
  2. How does it shoot? I've been looking at these lately thinking of getting one. Looks like a pretty good deal for the price you can get them for.
  3. I bought my girlfriend a pt111 a while back and love it. Its a good shooting gun and has had no problems
  4. +1 And there's Vittles on Lebanon rd. at Fesslers lane in Nashville.
  5. I think he might have $400 in the gun and the conversion all together.
  6. Start as young as you feel comfortable with. I had bb guns at five. Somewhere around seven I had my first "real" gun. A chepo .410 single shot shotgun. My granddad cut the stock off shorter for me and refinished it (Thats why its a different color). I actually still have that gun now.
  7. I own an xd45 and a millennium pro 9mm. I think they are both great guns and never had any trouble out of either one. Of course the springfield is going to be the better of the two, but I think taurus is making quality stuff nowdays. I think they just have a bad rep from the past
  8. I always use gun scrubber followed up by break free clp. I would rather use the stuff thats made for guns on my investments

  10. Thanks a lot. They had a rear sight assembly with everything i need:bowrofl:
  11. yeah yeah the scope is coming off as soon as i find some sights
  12. Wow! Nice collection!
  13. Thanks. I don't really know how they are made but I guess I need everything to do with it. There is nothing there at all, just a place for it.
  14. Went to see the parents last weekend and my dad gave me a mosin nagant he picked up a while back. After some research it looks to be a hungarian m44. I got it home and cleaned it up and it seems to be in pretty good shape. Can't wait to try it out. The rear sight is gone because someone put this red dot scope on it, but thats coming off soon. Anyone know where I can find the rear sight for it?
  15. Stack on makes a small locker that should work well. And they are pretty cheap. I have a larger stack on locker for all my guns. It's definately not a safe, but it gets the job done until i can get one
  16. My vote's on the rubber
  17. Don't know if im brave enough to try that. I'll just fork out a little bit of money and take it to a gunsmith. It will only have to be done once anyway

    SKS work

The tapco kit makes the magazine removable.

    SKS work

All these gun laws are a bit too confusing for me, I just do the best I can. I have had no feeding problems so far. Everything goes right in just like it is supposed to.

    SKS work

Didn't mention it...but I did also put in the gas piston and operating rod from tapco. It's all legal

    My new toy!

Taurus "Raging Bull" .480. Picked it up at a gun show last weekend. Don't really need it for anything practical, it just caught my eye and I wanted it. It is fun to shoot for a short period of time.

    SKS work

Got a new tapco stock and magazine for the sks a while back. I thought the magazine was going to be junk but I haven't had any problems so far.
  24. Im looking into getting a safe real soon. I found a 45 gun safe with the elec. keypad for $1100. It is stack-on brand, which i don't know much about. But it seems to be made really well and the interior is pretty nice
  25. I wonder if they make a jeweled esstender for it?
