So far, our vacation is going awesome! TGO member KileyBug has caught three sharks the biggest being yesterday. It was a 7 1/2 foot nurse shark that went about 250 pounds. After about an hours battle ,we were able to safely release the fish. She also go her first pig, a 60 pound sow. She made a 50 yard neck on it DRT.   Last night I myself got a hog, a big boar that weighed about 275 and has 3 1/2 inch teeth! That one will go on the wall for sure. Getting ready to head out and fish for sea trout. Will post some pictures after bit.   Dave

I actually broke a tooth at the fire department one day when I bit into a hamburger made from 100% pure beef from a local store. I bit into a shotgun pellet. And yes, the store paid my dental bill with no problems.   Dave S

As Shaun said.....   I'm 58 and I have been eating deer, rabbit, squirrels, ducks, quail, doves, wild pigs and just about anything else that can be shot and eaten since I was old enough to "gum it". I am sure I have swallowed more lead that I care to want to know. I will however, continue to do so. You posted some good info, and it's certainly something to think about, but it's too late into my life to worry about it now.   Oh, and, don't get me started on how bad "country ham and bacon" is for us!    Dave

Eagles of War I think it is, not sure though. I was in EOW not to long ago and they had some. Pack Rats in New Provedence had them not too long ago, but the old Colonels hours are pretty flakey though.   Dave S

I think the warning shot by the homeowner was in hopes the moron would change his mind about wanting to come in so he didn't have to shoot him. I seen this coming a long time ago. I never thought from the get go that the state could force a property owner or employer to let you to have a gun on their property if they didn't want to. I felt it would at least pass though, and then allowing employers to allow it or not.   So this whole thing was a waste of time and money!   Dave S

We used to have a beach house on St. George Island and used to flounder gig and catch scallops there all the time. All fun thins to do, until you stick a gig in your foot! I used to go down a couple times a year before we sold the house. I sure do miss that place!   Good times for sure!   Dave

One of my game warden buddies owns a boat that we will be fishing from. He's also friends with the land owner that is letting us hog hunt.   I'm hoping for a good trip.   C.A. Willard, I'll get you out here sometime we can get together. We'll get out in my Bass boat and see what we can catch.   Army Brat; will be fishing the gulf between St. George and St. Marks. Will actually be staying in Crawfordville. I am supposed to go to Sanford for a rally, but don't think I will. Then will be going over and surf fish in the Pensacola area.   Dave S
