When my bill gets 15% to 20% added to the bill for TIPS...that's a MANDATORY TIP. Did you not see where I said that? And, I absolutely refuse to pay MANDATORY tips! DaveS

I just pray that these two hadn't had the chance to spread their genes yet! DaveS

Absolutely not! I actually love hearing stuff like this. What leaves me speechless is the dumb***es out there that believes crap in their head like this! Who in their right mind would mentally rape that, well, that thang? The best she could hope for would be to tie a porkchop around her neck to elicit a response from the neighbors dog! I can say that over the years I have seen some fine examples of female human flesh that my eyes may have undressed a time or two, but I have never telepathically raped them. This story is so bizzar that I just can't fathom it. Recon they enjoyed it? DaveS

Of all the post on TGO that I have participated in, and even twice that many that I stay out of, this story absolutely leaves me searching for something to say! I'm at a loss of words! DaveS

Good luck Sir, and it's very easy to do! DaveS

You don't need a walk in cooler. An Ice chest or old freezer works just fine!

Good for him being honest, and surely a good deed on your part! I salute you! DaveS

Why should I have to go into an eatery and pay a mandatory tip? Please explain? It's not about being cheap or anything else. I don't dine there to make up an employers short comings to what he pays his employees. When I go out to eat, I expect the high and outrageous prices I pay for chow to cover expenses. Just the way it is. If my waitress is polite, courteous and takes care of my dinning needs (being cute helps a little too) then she'll receive a decent tip. If she's a total bi***, she better look elsewhere's for one. I don't tip my lawn boy, my mail carrier, my roofer,or the slug at walmart for services rendered. A waiter or waitress has to earn it, as it doesn't come automatically! A tip should be a sign of how good you served your customer, and not based on how much I spend! DaveS

I don't believe they should report it. Just my opinion is all. DaveS

I started using "White Labs" yeast several years ago, and does do wonders for your beer. I used to use another brand of liquid yeast but quit after I tried White Labs. A good extract kit, with a few specialty grains is a good way to get started. It's not complicated nor time consuming, and you'll amaze yourself. I think most folks would do well to start with a fast maturing brown ale or bitter, that can be drank in a month or so. Build your kit as you go! DaveS

Any tips I leave is based on service received, and not on what I bought. Just how it is! DaveS

I don't care one bit for "mandatory tipping", nor do I dine at those places that require it. I went into one resturaunt in Clarksville not long ago and the menu said 15% tip added to bill. I walked out. If you want a tip from me, you'd better earn it! They make at least $7.50 an hour to provide a service for their employer. Most places like that pool all the tips and divy them out equally. Not fair to the ones that bust their arse! If they don't earn it, they won't get it from me! Most of y'all won't dine in a place with a "gunbuster" on the door. That don't bother me. However, I don't dine in places that require mandatory tipping! DaveS

"Sequestration" Ends the A-10 Thunderbolt
DaveS replied to MacGyver's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That saddens me. The A10 has gotten as many GI's out of trouble in the Middle East as the F4 did in Vietpuke. It will be missed! DaveS -
This time of year I like to "slow roll" a spinnerbait, and fish a craw colored "pig and jig". Kentucky Lake is my spot of choice! DaveS

If you want to try ML hunting, I have an extra Inline I'll let you try out. That'll give you a chance to try out ML hunting. DaveS

I used to keg everything, but now, I'm back to bottles. All grain brewing is a lot of fun, but you can make some amazing brews with malt extract and a few specialty grains. Homebrewing is a fun and relaxing hobby to have no matter how you do it. DaveS

I can't imagine "coconut" in beer. However, Vanilla is awesome! DaveS

I'm an avid homebrewer. My favorites are Stouts, Bitters, Porters and brewing Marzen (October fest style beer) with Ale yeast and Ale temperatures. Makes one A** kicking Ale! Simular to a steam beer. DaveS

thompson center 50 caliber left loaded from last year
DaveS replied to Peevee's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
I have left mine loaded for extended periods of time and have shot them just fine. The powder and ball doesn't know if it's loaded 2 minutes or 2 years. You should be fine. DaveS -
That's right. Register everything you think you might hunt with. Take my word for it! DaveS

The best deal on Muzzleloaders right now is the CVA wolf. Very good and very accurate entry level ML. Call me, before you buy. DaveS
-
Most of the shots you get on post is less than 75 yards (more like less than 50) unless you're shooting across a corn or bean field. Get a muzzleloader. More opportunities on and off post. You'll be a lot happier if you do! I do a lot of ML hunting and would be happy to take you along. DaveS

I got my permit about 2 years after they came out if it matters. I only OC when hunting or fishing. I don't OC for all the reasons I've stated, plus it's no one's damn business that I'm packing. Bad guy won't even know until he has too. I'm not an attention seeker. To each his own. But, if my memory serves me right, Tennessee called the permits "Concealed Weapons Permit" or something like that. DaveS

I think it's just a matter of time when some good meaning person get's scared sh****** and draws and shoots someone like that because they thought they were going to get robbed and/shot. That'll end their little dance! DaveS

Columbine, Fort Hood, Fort Campbell, Aurora Colorado, Sandy Hook, Boston Marathon, DC Navy Yard.....convince these people. Take your fight to them. Shall I name some more? In this day and time, you sir (as well as me), would serve well to keep a low profile with our weapons. They are not very popular with the general public at the moment. We're not winning, nor will we ever win. Every time we as gun owners take a step in the right direction, some yoyo comes along and destroys everything we all worked so hard to achieve. What's so hard that we can't understand this? DaveS
