  1. Raise catfish and Tilapia for when times get hard. Trout works too, but you'll need a chiller.   DaveS
  2. Most likely it disappeared over a period of months.   DaveS
  3. I hear coverage decreases as we get older. Not sure I'm ready for that OS.   DaveS
  4. I'm glad it seems to work for you OS. It would screw me over. I guess it all depends huh?   DaveS
  5. I actually thought O-care would make health care cheaper for us older folks. Guess not.   DaveS
  6. Barely. Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal. I actually thought I could get Obama Care cheaper. Well...uh....no.   DaveS
  7. I can't afford Obama care! So maybe, just maybe, that all you fine people that voted for him, will pay my health care for me. For that, I thank you very much! You wanted change...well you got it! Thank you, thank you thank you!   DaveS
  8. Can't. It's a violation of rights!   DaveS
  9. I never even seen an ambulance on scene even after 8 minutes! The "scene was secure" with police. I guess that's how some country's handle their waste.     DaveS
  10. I didn't find any while I was up for the 150th. UPS Ground is the way to go. I'll pay to have it shipped.   DaveS
  11. I would love to have one or two. Where is Rhea County? You can't ship liquids through the mail but I believe UPS and FedEx allows it. People get beer (beer of the month club) delivered all the time. I will research it.   Thanks   DaveS
  12. Set in my tree stand the other evening and had two playing grab a** with each other. Pretty cool to see. First time I've seen them in the wild like that.   DaveS
  13. The drop down shooting rest is very good. They do make a "knee rest", which sets on the knee and works as a gun rest. The "fold down" rest is much better. Now is the best time to teach her to shoot without a rest. You'll never go wrong.   DaveS
  14. I'm just curious as to why some gun owners have to act like this just to try to prove a point. A lot could be argued here, one being is if I asked for names and ID's. We'd still be standing there waiting for that info. Kudu's to the officer.   DaveS
  15. Very well said. Better than I could've done. Being a Civil War Historian and Re-enactor, I know exactly what you are saying. One of my biggest wonders is, what that soldier (north or south) felt like as he hid behind a stump or rock as his enemies by the thousands advanced across the field of battle toward him. Did he think of home? His own life? Things we'll never know for sure. Re-enacting helps some, but the "life or death" feeling is just not there. Our boys in Blue and Gray paid dearly!   DaveS
  16. Gettysburg is a beautiful battlefield to visit and reflect back on our history. We took four of our cannons up for the 150th anniversary battle reenactment. A chilling experience. However, we have several nice battlefields here in TN and north GA. One of my favorites (the monuments rival those at Gettysburg in my opinion) is located just south of Chattanooga at Chickamauga GA. Very, very nice park there. Stones River, Lookout Mountain, Shiloh are all nice places to visit. Other's include Franklin and Fort Donelson in Dover.   If we let our past and history die, well, it's just.....history then huh?   DaveS
  17. And this will not happen, until we stop lining the car lots and store shelves with foreign cars and goods. Clarksville lost a couple of companies that moved overseas for cheaper labor. Who's to blame?   DaveS
  18. Awesome and touching video. Thank You for sharing!   DaveS
  19. So sorry to hear of your loss Robert. I just don't know what else to say....   DaveS
  20. Good to go. DaveS
  21. Walmart sells the CVA Wolf and it's a fine ML. I have 4 ML's and that one is my favorite.   DaveS
  22. That's what I'm talking about!   DaveS
  23. Yes...kewl beans! Pictures or it didn't happen! :stunned:  JK   DaveS
  24. I've never hunted Arkansas although many people do. Most of the places here are WMA's and they've already had their drawings for blinds. I guess there are places where blinds aren't required, but I have no clue where those are.   DaveS
