  1. Cool thing they did. It's nice to see something good happening. They need to fix the cameras though, as Musicman said, the picture was a little blurry at the end.   Thanks for sharing Robert!   Dave
  2. That's pretty funny. I don't guess "Little Johnny" is ever going to get out of school. Plus, he seems like such a good young man....   Dave
  3. Me too!   Dave
  4. I'm really learning a lot on this 5.56 stuff. I've shot pigs with 5.56 but never thought anything about the other stuff.   Dave
  5. Sorry to hear that bersa!   Dave
  6. Sir; I agree with this totally!!   Dave
  7. I just don't know what to say. This crap is getting old!   DaveS
  8. Yep, same thing the Garrison Commander told us MP's in 1980 on Fort Campbell too. But, Campbell had their own gang too! Where there's people, there's gangs. Period, especially in Clarksville!   Dave
  9. I do water bath on some things, but I want to learn pressure canning.   Dave
  10. I'm wanting to can garden vegetables instead of freezing them. I remember by granny having a pressure cooker that she cooked everything in. To this day I can still hear that little weight on the lid just rattling away! Memories...   DaveS
  11. That's good info on AR barrels. I would have never thought about that. Darn, there I go learning something again! Dave
  12. That's good stuff Tanker!! DaveS
  13. Oh, that's going to change their little lush lifestyle! That kid needs to be taught a lesson though!   Dave
  14. R_Bert told you right. However, the use of surplus military ball ammo (FMJ) is not legal. My personal opinion when hunting deer (I've only neck shot pigs with 5.56) is to use the heaviest expanding bullet available and pay attention to "shot placement".   Maybe one of our AR hunters will chime in and offer you more assistance.   Dave
  15. Thank You! I want to learn more about canning with a pressure cooker. I've never fooled with one, but it can't be that difficult. Thanks for sharing that info!   Dave
  16. It just seems like if folks are so un aware of how bad the crime rate really is...they live a Fairy tail life in a fairy tail city. It's just an old saying Robert. Clarksville is only about 1/4 the size of Nashville and our crime rate is really high. Nashville is not Disney Land, so I know your crime rate is crazy. Every morning the Nashville news reports stabbings, robberies, burglaries, shootings, and car jackings...every morning. Let alone the busting of meth labs. This whole state is ate up with crime. Don't be fooled Robert...spend some time on the streets and get an eye opener!   Dave
  17. I'm going to try it on my next deer. I'm always buying beef broth to cook with. Will be deer from here on out!   DaveS
  18. You won't see me in any place at 2am. You will not even see me on the streets of Clarksville at 2 am!!! When I worked on Fort Campbell up until March, I would get off of work at 11:00 pm. I would always stop at Walmart on Fort Campbell Blvd at about 11:20pm each night. Four out of five nights a week coming out of Walmart I would hear one or more gunshots as I walked across the parking lot to my car. While pulling out of the Walmart lot, I have seen dozens of police cars, fire trucks and/or ambulances flying by. Every freaking night..drive by's, domestics, punk gang members shooting at each other...PUNKS...making my city unsafe for anyone!!! Read the paper the next day and  you'll see, PERIOD!!! Don't tell me about crime Robert. I have a lot of respect for you...and your fairy tale city that you live in. I'm moving out of Clarksville buddy, because "Disney Land" doesn't exist here anymore, and this is a dangerous place to live. Because idiots made it that way.   Dave
  19. I didn't want to get involved in this thread as my views don't match those of others. But here goes.... He committed a crime and people died. He needed to be tried and sentenced as an adult, and spend his life in prison. Since when did how much money your parents have make a wrong right? This is the biggest crock of BS I've ever heard (well next to a certain someone from Florida) in a while!!! But when you are under 18, yo momma and daddy are responsible for your actions, and I'd be burning their azz financially if my next of kin got killed by that little moron!   Dave
  20. One thing to remember about hog hunting, is the bigger mature boars will stink like no tomorrow and be unfit to eat. If you want one to hang on the wall that's fine. If you want one to eat, get a sow or younger boar for your freezer. Once you smell a mature boar, and smell it's meat cooking, you will NEVER forget that smell nor will you want to eat it!!   Chris is telling you straight up and I second his comments!   DaveS
  21. Keep your nose clean and stay as far away from any kind of trouble as you can. Change your name, clean up your gig, and start fresh somewhere else!   Dave
  22. Yes, a jury heard it, and yes, they got the verdict right (based on the evidence presented). I agree with all you say Robert, but it doesn't (and never will) change my opinion about Zman. He's a thug! Just a matter of time.....   Maybe Zman and a "certain Nashvillain" should start a gun carry course. That would be something eh?   Dave
  23. Memphis isn't the only problem. Take our once little quite town of Clarksville. Crime in general, gang crime and crime from some of our military (those here from Chicago, Memphis, New York and LA for example), has increased here ten fold since 1980 when I got here. Parts of Clarksville are getting very bad! And so are many cities in the state.   Dave
  24. DRT is available in commercial ammo as well, all calibers....DRT means "Dead Right There"....bullet hits, animal drops instantly. Sorry about the confusion.   DaveS
