  1. I love Trout, but the Bass and Crappie are really hard to beat!
  2. Surface popper for the bass and 1 inch white curly tail jigs for the whites.
  3. Tofu? That's some bad, bad stuff!
  4. Welcome from 101st Airborne country!!
  5. Bass filets, white beans, homemade cole slaw, potatoes fried in hog fat, black skillet cornbread and iced tea......
  6. Taken today with my Ruger Old Army .45, loaded with 10 grains of FFFG Blackpowder and 20 grains of crushed walnut hulls. Ya'll done ruined me.....
  7. I took this "dude" today with my Ruger Old Army .45 My revolver was loaded with 10 grains of FFFG Blackpowder, wading, 20 grains of crushed walnut shell held in with more wading. He was shot while flying at about a range of 6 foot.
  8. You got that right...it don't happen often!
  9. I went fishing on 3-22-12. Got on the water at about 7am and had the 4 Bass by 7:30. The smallest one weighed 3-1/4 pounds and the largest is 5 pounds. It started raining at about 8:00am, we switched tactics and my Son and my self caught a 15 fish limit each of good quality White Bass. A couple yellow Bass made it in the livewell also. By 8:45 we had a limit, was soaked in the downpour...time to call it a day. It actually took longer to clean them all than it did to catch them! What a day!
  10. I can't get past the smell of chit'lins cooking. Then the tatse just sets me off!!!
  11. If I can get pictures to post, I will post a picture of the Bumble Bee I took with my Ruger "Old Army" .45 Black powder revolver. I got him today with one shot at about 7 foot....d**n I love this new sport!!! Any good recipes? I can't wait for "Junebug season" to come in.....It's all ya'lls fault too!
  12. .357 brass loaded with walnut shell and held in with wading.
  13. Has anyone tried a "cap and ball" revolver yet? I might, but it won't be with a red wasp....we have a truce agreement!
  14. I find this all too intertaining. I tried this because I surely thought my marksmanship skills were a tad to the good and ya'll were at least a bit serious. Well....I fired 5 .357 rounds at a "Red Wasp"....when he fired back by landing on the side of my head I really considered turning the gun on my self and shooting to put the both of us out of our miseries!! It's back to the range.....better yet, I'm done shooting at bees....
  15. When are you going to "Bow Hunt" one? Seems a 3-1/2 inch shell is almost as long as you are tall! I'm going down Saturday and work on food plots...will let you know...
  16. I have 6 Rhode Island Reds and one Buff Orphington (sp), and 6 ducks. I get at least 4 duck and 5 Chicken eggs a day. I'm egged out! I have a few roosters that are reaching their 12 weeks of age. Their fate is written in stone. I have found that farming (56 of my 57 years of life) leans toward "Rabbits" as the meat animal of choice. They out produce and out weigh any chicken egg you come across.....PERIOD! Rabbit runs agout $8.99 a pound in the store. Chicken? That's another story.....
  17. Turkey in picture number 4 says...... "Like, Yo Man.....wha'z up?"
  18. You just have to know her...... I might have to get her to kill some "dirt scratchers" off my hunting property. I would get "Whiskey" to do it, but he has issues......lol
  19. NICE!!!!!!
  20. Nice pics 101!!!! I hope you get that "Longbeard"!
  21. That picture is PRICELESS!!!
  22. Let his first turkey hunt be one to make memories with.....I.E.: SHOTGUN!
  23. AWESOME JOB !
  24. Live animal trap baited with sardines or cobs of corn with molasses poured over them. Turn the cats out and relocate the poss'ums on earth or elsewheres.... You could pick your shots, and use a higher power pellet gun or .22 cb or shorts. Depends how bad you want to get rid of them.
