    Ticks

I remember many years ago going to Boxwell with the Boy Scouts. I believe I had all the ticks there on my hiney.....are you sure there's any left???
  2. I went in today to renew my HCP. They kept my other card and said the receipt I just got is good until my new card came in. Kewl with me!
  3. Being the retired Taxidermist that I am........
  4. Not in the woods, but I just snagged and reeled in a dead water logged house cat. I think I'm done fishing for a bit...
  5. I should have known buddy!
  6. Does she have anger issues? I guess you better watch your scrawny neck little buddy!

I can't add anything that hasn't already been mentioned. These guys know their stuff!
  8. NICE BIRD!!
  9. They say that 25 year old women can cause blindness and heart attacks.....sheezzz.....
  10. There's a classy dude in every bunch! LOL
  11. I likey!!!!
  12. NICE BIRDS EVERYONE!!!!
  13. We all say it every now and then "I want to hunt this and fish for that" before I die or get too old. Well, what's on your "Bucket List?" Keep it on the subject of Hunting, Fishing, Trapping or being a NUISANCE-or-PAYBACK to folks that have "wronged" you in the outdoors (just for humorus purposes only).... I'll go first (This list is not in any order of importance) It's just a must do... 1. Harvest an Elk (Anywhere) 2. Harvest a 350 + pound Wild Hog with Flintlock Rifle (TN, AL, FL) It seems for now that TN is out of the run. 3. Trout fish an Ice Cold mountain stream or river. ( East TN or North GA) 4. Participate in an Authentic WWII Live Shoot (must be with period rifle, gear and uniform. Axis and Allied). 5. Chase down and beat a jet skier with my canoe paddle while out canoeing (seems some of them thinks it's funny when they "buzz you" and cause you to flip over....RRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Well, there you have it.....at least for now!
  14. I usually hear a gobble or two behind the house here, but the Owls moved in and must have scared everything away. No gobbles, and my chickens and roosters were even kinda edgy.... I did my mourning round of target practice with rifle and pistol, worked on the 4 wheeler and thought about taking my daughter out and try and get some pictures of some Hoot'n Owls. I didn't hear anymore "hoot'n', so I think I may have scared them away with my shooting, so we just decided to stay at the house and listen to the screaming bikes run up and down the road in front of my house ruining my country solitude.
  15. I believe Volunteer State offers them as well. Well, at least they used too.
  16. +1!!!
  17. Same here. Forty grains of Varget pushes that bullet at about 2900 foot per second. It's a awesome load, and the Grandkids can handle the recoil very well. Even the 5 year old loves shooting it.
  18. Man what beauty!!!! I would love to see that for real!
  19. I use the Hornady Interbond 140 grain 7mm/08. Deer pretty much drop where they are, and the exit woud itsn't bad at all (well, maybe for the deer). They hold together pretty well. At present, I will not change my loads.
  20. A "personal challenge" is always a good thing to have! If JG was here he could "HELP" you "hold it up"....remember the shotgun? LOL!!!
  21. Korn Likker....drink it, dress wounds, sterilize knives, start fires....the list goes on and on....
  22. We've caught a few Crappie, and some other fishermen we talked to have been catching a lot of small fish. Trees and brush in about 6 foot of water seems to be holding them. As soon as the corps of engineers brings the water back up...they'll hit the buck bushes with a frenzy!
  23. I'd love to get a chance to trout fish something like that. Sounds awesome!
  24. They ask here because you have to be 18 to buy shot shells and rifle specific ammo. 21 to buy pistol ammo and ammo for both rifle and pistol (30 carbine, .45 long colt, .357, .44 ect., ect..)
  25. So...caveman "Ugg" was talking to caveman "Zar" (or whatever their names were) and points at a big "Buck" dinosaur, and wants to go squeeze his "Hangy Downs"...that's living in the fast lane....good story though! LOL
