  3. I would...... I'd be so damned much in fear of my life, so scared, so shook up physically and mentaly....I would not be in control of my senses, and NOT know when to stop shooting the bad guy in my house!
  4. O/C and/or poorely concealed......someone gets excited, cops crap their drawers, and someone dies.......... Nice... Dave
  5. No, the one I'm thinking about was an elderly black man. He was shot and killed in his bed.
  6. Ya'll kill'n me....this stuff is on my "Bucket List"! I can't hardly take the tease! Is this a trout fishermans version of a "lap dance"?...lol!
  7. WELCOME!!
  8. Some where in Tennessee (I think it was), a few years ago, an elderly man and his wife were sleeping in their bed. At about 2 in the morning, police busted into his house. The homeowner, thinking he was being robbed during a home invasion, reached for his pistol on his night stand and was shot and killed by police as he sat up in his bed to defend himself and his wife. The police was actualy serving a warrant intended for a different house. The cops were at the wrong address. That was one hell of a price to pay due to someone elses stupidity!
  9. For most of us, I think having to pull the trigger on another human being (military service put aside), is the last thing most of us ever wants to do. My "instructor" taught us to "shout a warning" to a perpetrator in a self defense situation to "CYA"! "Stop, for your own safety, STOP"...shoot...game over! I think anytime you can give a warning to the other party...you have done all you could do before you send rounds down range. I think when you warn someone (even in military action) that they should cease their current activities or risk being killed....that's their sole decicision to make. Our handgun instructor many years ago was involved in a self defense shooting inside his home. When the police and EMS arrived, he was giving the perpertrator first aid. That went along ways....I would do the same.
  10. It doesn't matter to me...front, back, side, top or bottom, if they survive "Rufus, Hope, Buster and Dixie"...me putting them down with one or more "gunshots" would be a blessing to them! I pray for their families!
  11. Oh Shoot, do as David sujested, and become the moderator for this forum. Apparently we are in need of one. Either way, I love TGO, I, as you, finacialy support TGO...so I don't care where I read the news, experiences or stories...as long as I can do so! Become a "Moderator" and get us going in the right direction! David Sayre
  12. As a BENIFACTOR to TGO in which I spend countless hours pouring over the threads, I think this is fine. Maybe I missed something David, but I read almost every thread on here. I don't read Yahoo News, or anything. I do however read TGO from one end to the next Sir! It does not bother me one bit, to read about something "Non-Gun" on here. I actually welcome it! Sir, this was my 2 cents worth only! David Sayre "WD-40"...
  13. I agree 100%!! Piper had to put all those cameras up to take the heat off him for building the marina for all his rich friends to play.
  14. I'm taking notes...don't stop talking now!!!
  15. I only carry C/C four days a week......guess which four?

  17. I ran a paintball field for a while, and we got our spools at the electric company. They usualy give them away.
  18. I just talked to Timestepper on the phone. If I do nothing more than put my toe in the Clinch....it's gonna happen some kind of way, soon! Dave
  19. Spot; I just got off the phone with "Time" and I think we have a pretty good program put together. We need to get as many TGO members involved as possible. I'll be coming from Clarksville, so local fellows should have no problem! Give me a call at (931)802-2138 Tuesday or so would be fine!
  20. ab28...look at it this way....If your yard was "posted" NO TRESSPASSING, do I have a RIGHT to walk through your yard? If your land was "posted" NO HUNTING, Do I have the RIGHT to carry my deer rifle into YOUR woods and hunt?Does your pond "posted" NO FISHING give me no right to stand at your pond and fish. I can cite several posts of yours where you state you CARRY past gunbuster signs. I can't understand what you are so AFRAID of, that you seem to think you can bring your gun anywhere, any time you choose violating the rights of others. No one should EVER have to be asked to leave a piece of property because we got busted carrying. You choose to walk past a sign, YOU LOSE!! If I was that scared that I couldn't go anywhere without my .45, because I was in dire fear of my life, I believe I would do a little soul searching and try to figure who I ****** over somewhere along the way. If your that scared, MAN UP or STAY HOME!!! Dave
  21. You've stated in several other posts, that you carry where you choose, "Gun Buster" sign or not. What changed?
  22. I can't wait to see it. Also, They have a series starting the 31st called Mountain Men...I can't wait for that one either!
