  3. You ain't looking very hard! Oh, I just noticed you aren't from this area of the state...... Well....we have them this far north...confirmed!
  4. Be careful which piece of "public land" you are "coyote hunting" on. Some areas (most WMA's, LBL and national refuges) only permit the hunting of coyotes during another legal hunting season and with the weapon legal for the other game. Read the Tennessee hunting regs and alot of your questions can be answered. Private land I think you'd be ok. Public land would be a different story. Dave
  5. I see them every day at Cross Creeks Refuge...mighty big ones too!
  6. How many still like/watch the old TV westerns? I really like all of them. "Have Gun Will Travel" will always be my favorite!
  7. That is a good one too!
  8. Sir; You said it all!!!
  9. Any movies about mountainmen are good, and I especially like "Sacred Ground" with Tim McIntire and Jack Elam. There are just soooo many good westerns to choose from! I never cared much for the older Clint Eastwood westerns. Maybe because the music? I don't know!
  10. I have a bad feeling about this......
  11. I did some checking and was told that you can hunt with a handgun if you meet the following criteria; be 18 or older, have a valid hunting license, hunter safety course and have the right weapon for the game you "say" you are hunting. Don't say you are "small game" hunting and have a centerfire pistol on you, don't say you are deer hunting with a "rimfire". Most public land doesn't allow possesion of firearms of any kind out side of HCP and/or legal hunting season. I hope this helps... Dave
  12. I haven't seen any real new ones, but a few I really enjoy are 3:10 to Yuma, Dances with Wolves, Open Range and my all time favotrite.....TOMBSTONE. But any western is good in my opinion!
  13. What I was thinking...a lover's quarle!
  14. And...a HUNTER SAFETY course!
  15. If I'm not mistaken, you must be 21 years old or older to hunt with a handgun in the state of Tennessee.
  16. Ain't this something! http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/tennessee-man-accused-shooting-weatherman-crossbow-163208815.html
  17. Hopefully this trial will be on the TV!
  18. O/C or C/C, I don't think I would try to "out draw" someone who had a gun pulled already whether I could do it in 2 seconds or otherwise. I don't want to be on the nightly news of CNN, CBS, ABC all because I was OCD about OC or CC. If I have my gun pointed at your noggin, I would love to see someone draw their Toad from under their shirt, raise it, and shoot 2-3 shots before "Ol' Slowpoke" (me) can get a shot off...interesting.
  19. Research "Blue Talapia". They are quite cold tolerant from what I hear.
  20. + 1 for the Good Guy!!!!
