George said the weatherman was calling for snow.... Well folks...will post more later... enjoy! Dave
  3. There is nothing wrong with how you choose "do it". You can live primative any way YOU choose. Don't let anyone tell you different. If living primative means with a "cooler" instead of a "refridgerator"...so be it. Like I said at the meet; "however you choose to experience primative living, is up to you"...you are the only one YOU have to please. You're welcome in my camp anytime you choose! You're a fine young man, and it was my pleasure being able to meet and talk with you. If I can do anything to help you along, please let me know. Dave
  4. I stand corrected.... Write HER Highness a letter, or give her a phone call and get the law changed, er, I mean, get the sign took down!
  5. Oh hell.....
  6. Write him, her a letter or call and voice your concerns, maybe it will get changed for YOU!!! I wouldn't hold my breath though! Dave Senior Prophet (931)802-2138
  7. Maybe he was preparing to "wade" the freezing waters of the Clinch River!!! No never mind.....he lost it!!!! No offense Timestepper......
  8. Oh...the long johns.....another story indeed! I think the ol'mountainman fell off'n his horse and hit his head!
  9. It was a primative meet. Those that didn't have primative clothing and gear, was more than welcome to come as they could....all was welcome! Same as next time. There was a couple hundred dollars worth of gifts handed out no matter what you had or wore! It was all about meeting and learning!!! You should have come out...would have been nice meeting you! Dave

  13. Glad to hear your Daughter and friends made it through this mess OK...chill out....feal for their needs! I guess we all in some way or another have to deal with the worst mankind has to offer!
  14. They were there.... Our great Dolomite was guarding them....
  15. Thank You
  16. Where was that?
  17. I have plenty of pictures...where do you want them posted?
  18. Being shot by a robber in the comission of a felony robbery does NOT reflect on the business owner as something he condones. Being shot by some dumb*** because he is mishandling his weapon, because the business owner ALLOWED that to happen inside the store is a whole different set of circumstances! Since I am now getting "blue in the face" trying to explain all this....I need to run out in the heat and flip my ribs.....later!
  19. Would you go back if the "old owners" were still there?
  20. I agree with you 100%!!! Dave
  21. Being robbed and shot is a whole different situation. Look at it this way...I can come into your house or yard, with or without your permission and get hurt, and hold you completely responsible for my injuries. If I am on your property, and I get injured by one of your guest, YOU and your GUEST is now liable for my injuries. I may not win my suit...but I will put you through the ringer in the process! It does not have to be gun or gun related...I can walk across your front yard, trip on the edge of your sidewalk, break my ankle and then collect medical expenses from you!
  22. No sir....but it wasn't for lack of trying! The experience alone was awesome!
  23. Yes it is. I can't really see the buckle too good, but brass or iron would be good.
  24. Folks, it's always been my dream to trout fish an "Icy Cold" East Tennessee river or stream. With the help and guidence of "Timestepper" my dream came true.... Here I am in the Icy cold waters of the beautiful Clinch River! And I even caught my first trout ever! Thanks Don!!!! I am now officially hooked on trout fishing!! Dave
  25. I use mine for hand dipped colonial candles, gunstock polish, barrel grease, patch lube, waxing thread when sewing leather and buckskin....the list goes on and on! Dave
