  The introduction of the crossbow allowance during BOW season was a prime example of non consideration for the thousands of bowhunters in TN.       What is wrong with Crossbows? I hunt with crossbow, and I'm at a disadvantage with it. I can't recock mine while in my climbing stand with a shooting rail, I cannot manuaver around the tree as easy as I could with my compound bow, and I have no real greater range than regular bow. Allowing more hunters into the woods during bow season was one of the best things to ever happen to archery hunting by allowing Crossbows!   Dave S

I dried them with paper towels then rubbed them with olive oil. Then I applied lemon pepper inside and out, topped off with just a touch of paprika. I normaly smoke them with a slice of lemon, but was out of them. Smoked with hickory chunks.   Dave S

Well, Fort Campbell's trout streams gave up some Rainbow and Brown Trout again! These beauties just came off the smoker! Dave S

Do you know who the owners are? If so, ask them to control their dogs and keep them off your property. File a complaint with the sherrifs dept (they'll be a record of your complaint). You could file a complaint with "Animal Control", but most likely will not get much in the way of action. Contact TWRA and report this. It could be someone is hunting deer with dogs, who knows... Then you must make a informed decision on what to do by eliminating the "problem" or, watch the deer getting chased by dogs. I'm not going to tell you what to do. I know what I'd do...I love dogs too. I also love deer!   Dave S

We have a friend of our family (older lady) who was getting pulled over by a unmarked car. It was 1130 at night. She would not stop (she went about a half mile from where she first encountered the cop). She drove into the well lighted parking lot of the BP station before stopping. Unfortunely for her she go ticketed for failure to stop. She got stopped to begin with for having a burned out tail light. She explained to the officer that she felt unsafe and unsure about stopping where he wanted her to. He handed her the tickets and said take it up with the judge. That's pitiful in my opinion!   Dave S

These little "plastic guns" looked like plastic toys, they looked cheap and felt cheap. I'm going to go back to the LGS and look at some of ya'lls sujestions. I'm writting a list of handguns to look at. I need to make it right with this purchase, as I'll probably make this one last for awhile.   Dave S

What experiences do ya'll have with with the smaller Besras or Rugers? I have no experienes with .380 or 9mm. I'm just looking for some good info. I'm already familiar with .40 and .45. And would like sujestions. My LGSs want to sell me things I don't really want.   Dave S

I only said .45 as that's what I currently have. I would consider other calibers. I only mentioned plastic as I've seen a few guns lately that looked like they were made by mattel! All my other handguns are for hunting. Just looking for a new carry weapon.   Dave S

I my self soon will be getting with the right people with/for Americans with Disabilities and the higher ups at TWRA. I am absolutley sickened that our WMA's are not handicap user friendly. We have to put up with them here every time there is a funeral for a fallen soldier. We meet them head on and keep them from interfering. The local motorcycle clubs do a good job of it too. I don't know what these clowns thing they are trying to prove. If I was the father of one of those children, I think I could deck one of them!   Dave S
