  6. All I can say is, that if the thugs drove up to me after I disarmed him in an attempted armed robbery, I will surely be in fear of my life and will shoot the punks dead. Their age means nothing to me...play big people games, win big people prizes!   Dave S

  12. I was just getting ready to post the "rest of the story", you beat me to it. That's funny stuff. He should have blown out at least one tire with that little punk's shotgun!   Dave S
  13. We were letting some of the spectators fire the cannon..here's a video of one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9XxXvzjYsI&feature=youtu.be   Dave S
  14. Check and see which WMA it is. Then look up the regs for that WMA. Those regs will tell you what weapons are legal to use. The WMA's here that are near populated areas are "archery only", and firearms are not permitted. Go to http://www.tnwildlife.org   Dave S
  15. Actualy, I think the word "like" and "umm" is used too much....umm like actualy used like way too much...umm. I can't like stand anyone whom says "umm" between every sentence they speak!   Dave S
  16. Here you go. I stand corrected, this picture is when we fell back to the limbers as Federal Troops over run our guns. Dave S
  17. Here is a few pictures from this past weekends reenactment in Arrington, TN. Me on the right holding the "screw". The gun is a 12lb Confederate Howitzer. Dave getting the implements ready. Dave S
  18. I posted some pictures in "show and tell".   Dave S
  19. The first picture you posted is a 12lb mountain howitzer. That gun can be broke down and carried by two horses. That was a union group that was there. The second picture we were just lolly gag'n around so the federal troops could catch us by suprise. If you look at the limber, there is a guy standing with his arm in the air. I'm standing behind his arm with the red kepi on. As you looked up the hill at the confederate guns, I was on the gun on the left and was worming the tube and loading the rounds I was the only one on that peice with a red kepi. When the battle was over, we let people come up to the guns, and even let a few fire them. I'm glad you came down, wish we could have met.   Dave S
  20. Alot of the reenactors left Saturday due to weather. We held the battle on Sunday as scheduled and due to the mud and ground conditions, we had to use a JD tractor to place the guns in. All in all it was fun. I will post some pictures tomorrow un "Show and Tell". Thanks for attending! By the way, "mud" was not the word for it!   Dave S
  21. I wanted some of these, but would be afraid my sheepish neighbors would call the sherrifs dept and tell them I was testing bombs or something.   Dave S
  22. I don't think they should be worn. This one here looks too much like a cop's badge, and should be banned. Dave S
  23. Yep, last year. Good story though!   Dave S
  24. DaveS
