  1. Very nice! Now you just need to add implements as you need em. Nothing like a great deal!
  2. You are golden if you have the tractor already. I need one with a bucket so I have to wait to build up the funds for it. I would look for a used bush hog on craigslist. They don't provide a finished cut for the long run but are great for letting the fields grow and cutting it when you feel like it. They do make finish cutters too but they won't work too good as a brush cutter.  I think rotary cutters are the same as a brush/bush hog.
  3. I had he same overgrowth problem. I rented a little walk behind brush cutter. This wasn't good for my application, I had 5 acres and it's hilly. I hired a guy with a tractor and bush hog. He did a fine job. I didn't have the money for a tractor setup myself yet so hiring it out was the way for me. I know use an Exmark zero turn with 60 in deck and cut it all with no problems. Entire place looks like a yard. I'd say you're gonna need a skid steer to dig and build a berm. Good for you to have this problem though, have fun with the place!
  4. Lucky girl to have a Henry as her first rifle! H&H in Jefferson City has some 22, not old prices though but he has some.
  5. Welcome to the forum, East Tn is beautiful! Good luck with the 3 gun and finding 22!
  6. I'm in for #6, it looks sharp with the black handle and silver blade.
  7. I think 40 is my new favorite over 45 now. I blame Glock!
  8. It's reloaded by their factory. I missed the 45 auto or I had a different screen, plenty there though.
  9. I It must've gone quickly, I blinked and they were out of 45. So I picked up some 40 and 38. Georgia arms has decent prices too.
  10. Do we need a silver blade for equal opportunity quotas :)
  11. Poor criminal family, of course they'll sue. Slime balls don't seem to have a problem with their punk robbing people at gunpoint.
  12. An aggressive bear is certainly a different story. I have come across bear numerous time and each time they would take off, I haven't crossed paths when they were with their young and I know that could change the situation when surprised. We had one of our guys take a shot at a 400 + pounder with a 300 weatherby at about 75 yds. The bear dropped but when the hunter got up to him the bear jumped up and took off. He came and got us and the 6 of us went on to tracking him. At the spot of the shot, there were large chunks of shoulder bone/marrow/hair pieces, the big guy was defiantly hurt but ran like the wind. 8 hours we searched that day till way past dark. Went back the next day and searched all day. The sad part is we didn't find him. He was found two weeks later hidden in a small cave during buck season. Lessons learned, the hunter knew he should have been ready to shoot again as he approached but he had buck fever. It was his first bear shot and he was 80 years old. 2nd is the shoulder is one large thick area. I hope to never come across one and have to shoot it to save my hide. Black bear are curious but tend to avoid us 2 legged animals. In the meantime I gave up hunting them. I feel we disrespected nature since we didn't harvest him.
  13. I'm not affiliated in any way, but I did just pick up my first G23 gen 4 :)
  14. Right on! Wish it were 2 days till we get em!  :woohoo:
  15. They offer LEO / military discount too!
  16. I think if we had to shoot anything, including bear any round could work. Worst case, a bunch of 22 rounds to the face will do dang near do anything in. Not having a picnic basket with you helps too
  17. Hey folks,   Freedom Munitions is offering $5 shipping till the 11th. Prices are good too.   http://www.freedommunitions.com/#&panel1-3
  18. Whitewolf, that is some fine writing you are doing! Hope to hear a publisher picks you up but now I too would like to read more. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!
  19. You can call the turtleman from KY. He has a show on one of those reality channels. I saw an episode where he plugged up all the holes, manned one to catch them escaping then sent in smoke at the far hole. It worked, they came out. http://turtlemanliveaction.com
  20. Me too.
  21. Well good point, not to mention everyday costs shooting up. A big socialist wet dream coming our way!
  22. I am privileged that my grandparents migrated here from Italy in the 20's to give us a better life in the best country on earth. Too bad the minority have taken charge of schools and spew their twisted ideas.
  23. I've gotta agree it is a tourist trap and a zoo up there. What is good is the impact on the economy, especially this day and age.
  24. I can recommend the MKII, the 22/45 Lite and the P22. All three are outstanding but the 22/45 and P22 came with some government mandated safety nazi interferences, once I got rid of those they became superb shooters. The P22 is amazingly accurate for its size, I tend to shoot far. :) just cuz it says on the box the bullet can travel a mile and a half :) The 22/45 came with a scope mount too.
  25. Ugly

    Busted!!!

    That's funny!
