Anyone ever order ammo from MunireUSA?
Ugly replied to Wingshooter's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
That's great! I will right now, I can fabricate my own hat but would dig the TGO logo! -
I too have seen two cats in the northeast Florida area, one was black and the other tan, they were both pretty big. I looked up the Florida game commission website and they said there were none anywhere near where I was. Same thing with bear, the neighbor had one going though his garage looking for grub. I guess if they don't see them they don't exist. I called them to report the sightings and they didn't seem interested without physical evidence. That is a heck of a cat your cousin bagged! Congrats!

Their shipping prices turned me off, their prices seemed good though. I've had to ship some items and lately the shipping prices are very high inmo. I think most business work out deals with the shipper due to quantity from the business. I guess munire isn't on board with that program yet. -
Welcome Sailor! Dukedom sounds like a great place to live.

If your hose is too short or your pump is too weak, stand a little closer dude or you'll piss on your feet. Read that somewhere

I came across a deal on a G27 I couldn't pass up a number of years ago and while I liked it it was a bit small to shoot, it became a safe queen till I figured out I could use any .40 cal mag. Brilliant! Then I rethought the whole picture and decided to add a G23, simply unbelievable. It conceals better than I could have imagined and has a stock 13 rounds. An den a G21 followed me home to join my .45 line up. Again, incredible. The 23 beat out my compact 1911 for carry now for both the reliability and sheer quantity of rounds.

Advice on buying land and building a shop with apartment
Ugly replied to maroonandwhite's topic in General Chat
We were looking for a place with land and a decent home, we found some fantastic deals on land watch .com http://www.landwatch.com We ended up finding a foreclosure we couldn't pass up with less land than I wanted but we couldn't beat the deal. This website is easy to search for what fits your bill and is even worldwide. The first place I found on had 34 acres and a home with 3 bed 2 1/2 bath, 2 car gar and a pool, they were asking 78k for it. The have just land too. I found another place in Montana with 112 acres, 3 log cabins and the price was around 148. the ol lady didn't dig the glaciers in the background though :). Tenn won us over. Good luck! -
Very nice, that is awesome she is so involved and it's great for you too to have a partner with an interest in the sport

Ugly replied to JohnC's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
So the gov has our best interest in mind as long as they approve. Thank God and may he Bless America! Funny how campaign donations aren't on the list :/ -
The new govt fuel will probably booger it up anyway!

NSSF Issues Statement on ‘Operation Choke Point’

Glad to see there is something happening, however, with all of the violations of law and the lack of ethics of those in charge I will be surprised if anything other than lip service happens. Boil the frog slow……. -

Russian metallurgy is problematic to a point. I had a Russian bike and have had many a problem with corrosion and failure. They are bad a•• though!

Very cool! It be awesome to have several thousand acres to go run around on! Imagine telling your Honey, "I'm gonna go shootin out back :)"

I don't have a complaint, the leather is thick and provides good coverage and the judged is thick as well. The also send a bunch of bushings to adjust retension. The lesson in patience for the delay of arrival is a bit over the top though:) Worth every penny!

Talk about discrimination, 1911's? Since we took my compact .45 out of the equation 1 is the G23, perfect size and round count. 2 is the ruger LCP for its sheer size and purpose. 3 is the XD tactical, way better grip fit than the G21 and so far it has been flawless. For it's size it is surprisingly concealable. I do love me some S&W wheels but with the # of thugs in some areas I prefer higher round counts.

Sorry to hear that!

I ordered a couple myself.the only downside I see is you long it took to get them, 5weeks. The price was great and they are the best holders I've got in my lineup so far. The value is there the wait is the only negative I see. Fit and finish is darn good. One did mark up My G23 but what can I expect when the metal is rubbing against the plastic. Putting the holster on is easier than most I have and am completely happy with my purchase.

It's a mag release, not mag install button. I'd say there is something wrong with that 1911.

Hope you get it! I bet it'd be a great place to work and be part of!

Memorial Day, I think about the first Americans that fought for our country. I grew up in Bethlehem PA where there is a lot of history. It is just north of Philadelphia. The Liberty Bell was snuck through to prevent it from being captured by the Brits as well as President Washington crossing the Delaware nearby. The American Revolution has remnants throughout the area and the reason I am writing this is because nearby is a tomb of the unknown soldier. There was a hospital nearby and as our patriots died they were buried on the hillside. One day I was out riding my bicycle and came across a memorial, it turns out this is a back street with no fanfare and you have to go out of your way to find it. The memorial contains the remains of three soldiers who were discovered while they were doing highway work and expanding the road and the remains of one man that was found in 1932. It is estimated to be over 700+ men buried on this hillside. Every time I go back to town I stop there. There has since been a flagpole installed, some new marble headstones and even some city signs. I think about what these brave men fought for, going up against the British and leaving their loved ones to fight for a seemingly impossible dream. I think of all the men and women that have sacrificed their livelihoods for us. May they be beside God and at peace! If anyone considered going to the annual Musikfest in Bethlehem, it is right near there. I recommend both checking out the fest and seeing the memorial. I miss the area and I think of those that have gone before us often. http://www.roadsideamerica.com/story/34032 http://www.musikfest.org
