I haven't shot the 1911 version of .22 but do love my MKII and 22/45. I've moded my mags to work in both which makes it nice. Congrats on the addition and do tell how it shoots

It could be me but after this post started, I started getting emails from munire 3 and 4 a day. Haven't received one before that for about two months. Odd, or is it.

I agree that there are built like a tank, very thick leather and kydex, both of mine fit the pistols like a glove, 1911 and G23. The only thing I would like is some sort of traction on the back against me so it won't wiggle around. Not that it does very much but then I'd be able to loosen the belt up a notch. Tremendous value for sure and I might even order a couple more. No free bag here. 

Never had a problem with them, very happy with the product and price. Shipping wasn't bad either.

I couldn't resist the 45 after the G23, a G21 followed me home soon after.   Its a gen 4 and I'm still on the fence if I like it more than my XD. I need to send a few hundred rounds down range and see if it'll win my heart. I do love the .45 though!

Sweet addition! The sharpening system is darn sweet too! Any recommendations on a quality sharpener systems for us poor people?

I think the majority of LEO's are in the field to help people and make a difference. Sure some make up the difference of short man syndrome with the badge but I think it's a small minority. After what I see in public I commend the LE community for dealing with the scumbags and those that are willing to steal/hurt/murder others for their little bit of gain. Plus the system lets too many offenders off too easy inmo. That would drive me nuts if I were out there trying to make a difference. Don't get me wrong, I'm 100% against speed traps, checkpoints and cameras to generate revenue. It is like the 3rd Reich out there at times and that is beyond un-American!

Dresden is a long way from me, but if I'm ever out there I'll check it out. I'm one of those bikers that doesn't look like one, I find it funny when I go to those places where the garb is the lifestyle. There is nothing better than riding with a large group of bikes but I'd rather just be me and wear what works for me as opposed to what's in style. The full throttle saloon has become a circus down in Daytona, I like the small scurvy biker bars where the women are friendly and the beer is ice cold and priced reasonably.

I might as well get off the fence, I'm in for #6.  These sure do impact the ol firearm hobby but you don't need to keep feeding it!

Congrats! I think the G23 is the perfect size for round count and caliber. I am a huge fan of the .45 but when I compared the .40 and size of the 23 it was a hand down no brainer.  Enjoy the addition!

You could always rent one or go with a bud if you get the urge. Just think of what you're saving with insurance and registration. Mud you can channel that money towards another hobby. I think you made a good call, if it was 3 times last year it would probably be zero times this year, and the next and the next. I never got the money's worth out of my boat and you have to make the call eventually. Poor dog though!

They are predators, with no enemy to combat them except us any more. I don't like killing anything that I won't eat either, however predators are different. If the wolf population was where it would need to be to keep the balance that would be one thing but it's not. I lived in California for 4 years and there were frequent cat attacks on joggers. Once I was in the forest and came across some fresh tracks and heard the cat close by, think he was looking for a cheesesteak? Me neither. It is what it is and we have to do what we have to do.

I gotta say I am against the fedora version only because the hipsters seemed to have hijacked em and beards. I shaved my beard into my fedora and burned it as a sacrifice to the Gods. I did sign up as a benefactor and if I have a choice I'd like the conquistador version :)
