Interesting. I haven't seen the release yet but hav learned this over the years. The sportster is a fantastic sporty bike. I had a 1990 883 and I rode it like a road bike, didn't get the most out of it. It also had a design flaw with the 4 speed gearbox/clutch basket/ alternator setup. Got rid of that and picked up a 1981 fxs, still have it, great bike. I also have a geezer glide and it is superior on the long haul and is quite easy to ride slow as well. I am currently considering adding a sportster to the line up. One reason is that he MoCo has fine tuned the engine to be the best engine they have ever made. The dynas and that class were the foot in the door to the big twin engine. I'm suprised they got rid of em. The softails look good but didn't ride as good as something with conventional shocks. I wish them success, but do think they should've kept Buell and the VROD.

That's logical. But what are the odds all of that money is going to roads? Zero % in my county. a wheel tax is for the schools (supposedly) In addition to the school tax. And of course our tax cut raised gas taxes. I've heard the term "baffle them with bull****" before and believe that's the operational norm

I do have some idea. Registered in 5 states. I just hope Tennessee doesn't creep up there. Not because the extra $5 per vehicle a year, but also have an extra $120 a year for the fleet on top of what it used to be. The doubled wheel tax hasn't made a dent in our deficit so the promise of no property tax increase will soon be broken. If I lived in the county next to mine i'd save $240 just on the tax. Personally I don't see the mismanagement of my countys finances changing any time soon. So yes, I would consider moving to a place that is better managed. I agree TN is over all cheaper than many other states. But we are likely to get another rino as governor and im sure they will continue the liberal policies that make conservatives cringe.

Why would there be a void if no revenue were generated by tickets? Is that how departments create their budgets? Including expected violations? This case involved a complete slimeball lawyer. He was an ambulance chaser on a mission for $. in fact he was so stand up, his brother died in a small plane crash and this guy forged a will!
